Zangge Mining strictly manages pollutants and waste throughout the entire production process—from the source to treatment—establishing comprehensive systems and ledgers for solid waste, exhaust gas, wastewater, and noise management. This ensures that pollutant and waste discharges meet regulatory standards, while the company continuously explores more efficient reduction methods to improve environmental governance.
Air Emissions Management
Air Emissions Management
Zangge Mining strictly complies with the Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Atmospheric Pollution and applicable national and local air pollutant emission standards. In accordance with relevant regulatory requirements, the Company manages and monitors major exhaust gas emission sources, and has formulated a Self-Monitoring Plan, with a focus on pollutants such as total suspended particulates, nitrogen oxides, and dust.
The Company continues to apply treatment technologies such as flue gas purification, dust removal, and denitrification to ensure stable compliance with exhaust gas emission standards and continuously reduce total air pollutant emissions. At the same time, to further improve exhaust gas treatment and enhance the stability of production operations, the Company has continued to advance low-NOx combustion technology upgrades. It has carried out dedicated upgrades to combustion equipment used in workshop drying systems and has gradually replaced relevant gas-fired boilers with low-NOx burners. Through technologies such as external flue gas recirculation, the Company further reduces the generation of pollutants such as nitrogen oxides and carbon monoxide during combustion, and continuously enhances its exhaust gas treatment capabilities.
Wastewater Management
Wastewater Management
Zangge Mining continues to improve its wastewater management system, implements full-process refined management of production wastewater and domestic sewage, and regularly conducts wastewater monitoring. The Company monitors and controls key indicators such as pH, chemical oxygen demand, ammonia nitrogen, and suspended solids.
For domestic sewage and boiler blowdown water, the Company collects the wastewater in a unified manner and directs it to integrated sewage treatment facilities for centralized treatment. After treatment, the water quality meets relevant standards. Based on production needs, the treated water is either reused in other production processes or directed to anti-seepage evaporation facilities for natural evaporation, thereby avoiding direct discharge of wastewater.
At the same time, the Company continues to strengthen anti-seepage and enclosed management of temporary wastewater storage facilities, reducing the risks of leakage and environmental pollution, and continuously improving wastewater resource utilization and standardized management capabilities. As of the end of 2025, Zangge Lithium had achieved 100% recycling and reuse of industrial wastewater, continuously reducing wastewater discharge.
Waste Management
Waste Management
Zangge Mining implements classified management of non-hazardous and hazardous waste, and has established a full-process waste management system. The Company has formulated regulatory documents such as the Solid Waste Management System and the Hazardous Waste Management System, which specify waste classification standards, storage requirements, disposal procedures, and responsibilities across each stage. These efforts continuously improve the standardized, reduced, and resource-oriented management of waste.
The Company strictly follows the Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Waste and relevant requirements for standardized hazardous waste management. It continues to strengthen full-process control of hazardous waste, standardizes the management of hazardous waste generation, warehousing, outbound transfer, relocation, and disposal, and has built dedicated hazardous waste storage facilities with standardized identification labels. These measures promote the reasonable utilization and harmless disposal of hazardous waste.
At the same time, the Company continues to explore management pathways oriented toward source reduction and process optimization. It integrates the concept of waste reduction into production organization and process improvement, continuously reducing the environmental impact of waste.
