Zangge Mining adheres to the environmental management principles of “protection first, prevention-oriented, comprehensive governance, public participation, and liability for damages”, continuously optimizing its environmental management system, increasing investment in environmental protection, reducing pollutant emissions and resource/material consumption across the product lifecycle, and enhancing its capability to prevent and respond to environmental risks, actively safeguarding the ecological environment of the regions where the company operates.
Management Policies and Structure
Zangge Mining designates the Board of Directors as the supervisory body for environmental protection, with the President directly in charge. Regular EHS meetings are held for oversight and planning, while departments such as Safety & Environment, Public Facilities, and Production implement measures.
The company strictly complies with the Environmental Protection Law and related regulations, established an ISO 14001-based management system, and issued policies such as Environmental Protection Policy and Facility Operation Rules across all production bases. Zangge Lithium passed third-party audits with effective results, while Zangge Potash obtained ISO 14001 certification for the first time. By 2024, 100% of production bases achieved certification.
For environmental goals, the company implements a responsibility system, signing annual safety and environmental responsibility agreements with subsidiaries and integrating targets into employee performance reviews. In 2024, all environmental incident control targets were successfully met.
