Zangge Mining adheres to the environmental management principles of “protection first, prevention-oriented, comprehensive governance, public participation, and liability for damages”, continuously optimizing its environmental management system, increasing investment in environmental protection, reducing pollutant emissions and resource/material consumption across the product lifecycle, and enhancing its capability to prevent and respond to environmental risks, actively safeguarding the ecological environment of the regions where the company operates.
Management Policies and Structure
Zangge Mining strictly complies with the Environmental Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China and applicable environmental protection laws and regulations in the locations where its projects operate. The Company has established an environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001 and has formulated and implemented management policies such as the Environmental Protection Management System, the Environmental Protection and Safety System, and the Management Measures for the Operation of Environmental Protection Facilities. These policies cover its major subsidiary production enterprises and key business activities, continuously ensuring the effective implementation of environmental management requirements. As of the end of 2025, the environmental management system certification coverage of Zangge Potash Fertilizer and Zangge Lithium reached 100%, and the systems continued to pass audits by third-party certification bodies, ensuring their ongoing effective operation.
At the same time, the Company continued to improve its environmental management responsibility system, strengthening the overall coordination and tiered implementation of environmental protection work. The Company has incorporated environmental protection into its annual operating targets and performance assessments, promoting the continuous implementation of environmental management requirements across planning, inspection, review, and improvement processes in production and operations. In 2025, the Company met its established targets for the environmental pollution incident rate, compliance rate of pollutant discharge outlets, and standardized hazardous waste disposal rate.
