Zangge Mining firmly upholds the environmental philosophy of “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets”, emphasizing the impact of its operations on surrounding ecosystems. The company proactively identifies potential ecological impacts arising from production and operations, actively implements green mine construction, and conducts ecological protection education, ensuring that business development does not come at the expense of the environment and remains in harmony with local natural surroundings.
In 2024, Zangge Mining collaborated with Qinghai University on a research project to enhance its participation in ecological protection efforts and fulfill corporate ecological responsibilities. During the collaboration, the company organized ecological protection training for ESG officers across departments. The training was tailored to the ecological characteristics of the Qingzang (Qinghai-Tibet) region, covering soil salinization management, vegetation restoration, biodiversity conservation, and high-altitude ecosystem dynamic monitoring. This initiative strengthened the company’s awareness of ecological protection and biodiversity conservation in its operational areas.
