Julong

Tibet Julong Copper Co., Ltd. was established in December 2006. Zijin Industrial Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zijin Mining Group Co., Ltd., operates Tibet Julong Copper (holding 57.35% equity), while Zangge Mining Co., Ltd. holds 30.78%. The Julong Copper mine has confirmed copper metal resources totaling 25.88 million tons, making it the largest registered copper deposit in China.
Mami Co

Mami Co

Mami Co Salt Lake is located in Ngari Prefecture, Tibet, covering an area of 115.36 square kilometers, with brine resources as the main type of deposit. Proven reserves of lithium chloride in liquid brine amount to 2.5011 million tons, equivalent to approximately 2.1774 million tons of lithium carbonate. Tibet Ali Mami Co Mining Development Co., Ltd. was registered in June 2008 with the Ngari Administration for Industry and Commerce. The company indirectly holds about 26.95% equity through Jiangsu Zangqing Fund.
The Mami Co Salt Lake project adopts advanced lithium extraction technologies such as adsorption and membrane separation. It is planned to be constructed in two phases with a total production capacity of 100,000 tons of lithium carbonate per year, with the first phase targeting an annual output of 50,000 tons. The first-phase project is scheduled to commence construction in the third quarter of 2025.
Laos

Laos

The company’s potash project in Laos consists of two subsidiaries—Laos Development and Laos Xaythany—which are responsible for exploration and development of potash deposits in Pakngum District and Xaythany District of Vientiane, respectively. Laos Development has obtained a Resource Reserve Certificate, with approved potassium chloride reserves totaling 984 million tons and associated bromine reserves of 16 million tons. The exploration report for Laos Xaythany has already passed official review.
Guoneng Mining

Guoneng Mining

Tibet Zangqing Fund holds 39% equity in Guoneng Mining, through which Zangge Mining indirectly holds 21.09%. Guoneng Mining owns mining rights for Longmu Co and Jiezhe Chaka Salt Lakes in Ngari, Tibet, with combined reserves of 3.9 million tons of lithium carbonate and 28 million tons of potassium chloride, ranking among the top in the world in lithium carbonate reserves.
The Jiezhe Chaka Salt Lake project is planned for an annual capacity of 60,000 tons of lithium salts, including 30,000 tons of industrial-grade lithium hydroxide and 30,000 tons of battery-grade lithium carbonate. The Longmu Co Salt Lake project is planned for an annual capacity of 70,000 tons of lithium salts.

Technological Achievements Showcase

Facing the common challenges of China’s salt lake resources—namely low-grade, complex composition, and extraction difficulty—Zangge Mining places innovation at the core of its operations. The company has successfully developed and mastered multiple key technologies with independent intellectual property rights. The “low-grade potash ore solid-to-liquid conversion” technology significantly improves resource utilization, enabling efficient exploitation of low-grade resources. The “one-step lithium extraction from ultra-low concentration brine” process overcomes industry technical bottlenecks and greatly expands the economic feasibility of resource development. These technological innovations have been awarded the Second Prize of Science and Technology Progress by Qinghai Province and recognized by authoritative institutions as internationally leading, setting a technical benchmark for the comprehensive development of China’s salt lake resources.
