“Zangge · Future Fun Children’s Growth Center” Established in Yunnan

To thoroughly study and implement the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress, practice the new development philosophy, and actively integrate into the new development pattern, Zangge Mining Co., Ltd. upholds common prosperity as a core corporate social responsibility goal. The company actively contributes to stable growth, job creation, tax revenue, rural revitalization, ecological progress, and public welfare. Among these efforts, the “Yi Xing Hong Guang” public welfare project is a key initiative.

In 2023, through the “Yi Xing Hong Guang” project, Zangge Mining donated more than RMB 440,000 to the Western Sunshine Foundation in Beijing to support the renovation of two “Zangge · Future Fun Children’s Growth Centers” in Yinyuan Town and Wadie Township, Yuanjiang County, Yuxi City, Yunnan Province. The centers are designed to provide left-behind children aged 6 to 16 with emotional companionship, broaden their horizons, enhance self-awareness, and support both independent and social learning.

From April 10 to 13, 2024, the company organized seven employees to volunteer in the renovation work. Guided by ESG principles, Zangge proposed low-carbon and child-friendly solutions, introducing innovative green modular paper furniture in the two centers. All furniture was made from corrugated cardboard, achieving a fully green process of production, manufacturing, logistics, and recycling.

In addition, the paper furniture allowed children to freely combine and assemble items according to functional needs, enhancing their hands-on skills and spirit of exploration, fully reflecting the child-friendly concept. On-site, volunteers designed layouts, painted walls, assembled furniture, and decorated spaces. Within just three days, they completed the renovation of three activity rooms in Yinyuan Town and Wadie Township, providing local children with personalized spaces to discover joy and develop interests.

In building the “Zangge · Future Fun Children’s Growth Centers,” the company acted as both a practitioner and a connector, collaborating with public welfare organizations and other partners to support local children, while engaging employees in volunteer activities. This initiative provided a highly valuable example of corporate involvement in public welfare.
