The Qualification Exam for Qinghai-Tibet Railway Locomotive Drivers Successfully Held on Our Dedicated Railway Line

Our dedicated railway was once again designated by the Qinghai-Tibet Railway Company as a testing site for the diesel locomotive practical exam. On April 12, the J5 DF12 locomotive inspection and testing subjects, along with the J5 diesel locomotive driving practical exam, were successfully conducted.

The practical exam was conducted between Zangge Station 1 and Zangge Station 2, with two DF12 locomotives and three candidates participating. The exam consisted of two parts:

Locomotive Inspection and Testing – Examiners marked issues at different points on the locomotive, and candidates were required to identify them through a comprehensive inspection.

Practical Driving – Candidates independently operated the locomotive under real driving conditions, with experienced licensed drivers on standby for emergencies. Examiners observed performance and scored accordingly. Thanks to the joint efforts of examiners, candidates, and safety staff, the exam concluded successfully.

In recent years, our dedicated railway has frequently served as a practical testing site for locomotive driver qualification exams, earning recognition from the relevant departments of the National Railway Administration.
