The Company Youth League Committee Organizes the “May Fourth” Singing Competition

When youth thrive, the nation thrives; when youth are strong, the nation is strong. To earnestly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, promote the May Fourth spirit of patriotism, progress, democracy, and science, review the glorious history of the Communist Youth League, and inspire young employees’ patriotism, loyalty to the Party, and collective spirit of innovation and perseverance, while consolidating their youthful wisdom and strength to advance the company’s high-quality development, the company Youth League Committee held a singing competition themed “Sing for Beautiful Zangge · Inherit the May Fourth Spirit” at the West Office Building of the Hu District. A total of 15 teams with 84 young employees participated.

Before the competition began, employees from the Production Department performed a lively Guozhuang dance “Gathering Joy” to warm up the event. Then, the host introduced the competition rules and important notes. With the announcement of the official start, all 15 teams took the stage in turn. Songs such as “Return from Target Practice,” “I Stand in the Generation of a Strong Nation,” “Ode to the Motherland,” and “Red Star Shines” were performed passionately. The contestants wore uniform attire, exuded enthusiasm and energy, and used powerful, melodious voices to resonate with the audience, express loyalty, and sing their deep love for the motherland. The performances fully demonstrated the determination of the new generation of youth to follow the Party, as well as their spirit of unity, cooperation, and positivity.

Offstage, the waiting young participants experienced mixed emotions—expectation and nervousness for the upcoming performance, coupled with confidence and eagerness to win. This blend of emotions added a sense of tension and excitement to the atmosphere.

The competition lasted for two hours. After fierce contesting, the Quality Management Department team won first place; the Small Vehicle Team of the Public Facilities Department and Logistics Team 2 won second place; and the Supply and Storage Department, Central Warehouse of Supply and Storage, and Logistics Team 1 won third place.

Youth is the time for striving, and we should seize every moment. These red songs are not only the voice of the era but also living pieces of history. Each song carries profound patriotism and revolutionary passion, allowing us to revisit historical memories and remember the journey that brought us here.

The event not only promoted the spirit of patriotism but also further strengthened the ideals and convictions of young employees. In their future work and life, they will continue to embody the May Fourth spirit of self-improvement and perseverance, work together in unity, face challenges hand in hand, and exert full effort, actively contributing to the company’s high-quality development through practical actions.
