Going Beyond at the Edge, Achieving the Extraordinary in the Ordinary — A Chronicle of the Logistics Maintenance Team
In the blink of an eye, another summer has arrived. This summer has been very different for our Logistics Maintenance Team. The workload seems far heavier than in previous years. With less than two months since moving into the new dormitory buildings of Workshop 1 and Workshop 8, we not only had to ensure the flawless operation of the water and electricity systems in the new dormitories, but also remain on call for any maintenance needs across the entire company campus—from office buildings to all workshops.

Over the past two months, my colleagues and I have braved the scorching sun, tirelessly moving across office buildings, dormitories, the canteen, water sources, and every corner of the vast Gobi desert area within the factory. We have successfully completed dozens of maintenance tasks, doing our utmost to ensure smooth progress in all repair and support work.
From the 800,000-ton office building water system renovation, to the installation of septic tank pipelines in the new dormitories, and the cable layout in the dormitory fire control room, we meticulously inspected every pipe and carefully laid every cable to ensure compliance with acceptance standards, making sure they withstand the test of time.

Beyond handling the aftermath of the new dormitories, we left no issue unattended in other workshops. We completed roof leak repairs for the canteen in Workshop 3, as well as for the sewage rooms in Workshop 1 and the administration building. Additionally, we handled dozens of projects including pure water maintenance for the admin canteen and replacement of freshwater pipelines in Workshop 6 laundry, ensuring the safety and stability of colleagues’ work and daily life.
We are like individual bricks—wherever there is a need, we rush there, acting as a timely support for all employees.

Now, as the new dormitories of Workshop 1 and Workshop 8 are about to open for occupancy, we are confident that this year’s major challenge will be successfully overcome!
In the future, my colleagues and I will continue to carry this passion and responsibility, taking charge of the daily water, electricity, heating, and equipment maintenance in both office and dormitory areas. Through our actions, we exemplify the motto “Logistics Never Lag, Service Comes First”, writing extraordinary life stories in our ordinary positions!
