Zangge Mining “Yi Xing Hong Guang” — Snapshots of Environmental Education at the Source of the Yellow River Community Kindergarten

In July this year, as part of the “Yi Xing Hong Guang” public welfare initiative, Zangge Mining, together with the Beijing Lianyi Charity Foundation – Fangcun Charity Fund, donated teaching equipment and supplies to the Kindergarten of the Yellow River Source Community in Qumalai County, Qinghai Province.

The kindergarten is located in the Kunlun Ethnic Cultural Village of Golmud within Qumalai County. This village is the first cross-regional ecological migration community established to protect the Sanjiangyuan (Three-River Source) ecological environment. The kindergarten currently has 95 students and 15 teachers, but only one office computer for the entire facility. Upon learning of this situation, the company, in collaboration with the Fangcun Charity Fund, donated computers, printers, books, toys, and other teaching materials. Volunteers from the company also joined the children for a lively environmental education class, guiding them to express their love for nature and their commitment to environmental protection through drawing, handicrafts, and other creative activities.

At the end of the event, the children sang and danced to show their heartfelt gratitude to Zangge Mining and the Fangcun Charity Fund in the most innocent and joyful way. Their bright smiles and cheerful steps brought the event to a perfect close—serving not only as a celebration of the program’s success but also as a lively response to the environmental knowledge they had gained. Through such activities, the children not only acquired new knowledge but also learned to convey gratitude and happiness in their own way, reflecting the true meaning of education.
