Zangge Potash Conducts 2024 Comprehensive Emergency Drill for Production Safety Accidents
To comprehensively strengthen the company’s efforts in production safety management, enhance emergency response capabilities, and improve practical rescue operations in the event of production safety accidents, while ensuring the effective protection of employees’ lives and property, the company organized the “2024 Comprehensive Emergency Drill for Production Safety Accidents” on September 11. Vice General Manager An Shoujun, Assistant General Manager Xiao Bing, and heads of relevant departments in the lake area participated in the drill.

The drill simulated scenarios including crane accidents, fires, and electric shocks, carrying out a series of emergency rescue operations. Through both tabletop exercises and practical drills, the exercise aimed to test and enhance the company’s emergency response and handling capabilities in the face of various safety incidents.

At 14:30, with the “Drill Start” command issued by Chief Drill Commander An Shoujun, the exercise officially began. The drill simulated the foundation of the flotation plant in Workshop One sinking, causing the crane track to shift. During motor replacement operations, the crane derailed and fell, hitting a power distribution cabinet and triggering a fire, leaving one person injured and unconscious at the scene.

Upon receiving the report, the company’s Emergency Command Leadership Team promptly activated the Comprehensive Emergency Plan for Production Safety Accidents. The rescue team immediately carried rescue equipment to the scene, quickly controlled the fire, and searched for the injured; the emergency technical team promptly cut off power at the accident site to prevent secondary hazards and ensure rescue safety; the communications team was responsible for relaying information to ensure smooth coordination among all groups; the security and evacuation team quickly established a safety perimeter and orderly evacuated personnel to safe areas, maintaining on-site order.

From accident reporting to on-site rescue, from evacuation to medical treatment, and from external support to follow-up handling, every step was executed in accordance with the plan. Through the close cooperation of participating departments and personnel, the emergency drill for production safety incidents was successfully completed. This exercise not only tested the effectiveness and operability of the company’s emergency plans but also significantly enhanced the company’s emergency handling capabilities and practical rescue skills, providing a solid guarantee for achieving high-level safety and high-quality development.
