Zangge Mining Conducts 2025 Special Legal Awareness Program on Female Employees’ Rights Protection

In March 2025, ahead of the United Nations International Women’s Day and International Day of Peace, the Legal Affairs Department of Zangge Mining, in collaboration with the President’s Office and the Zangge Potash Fertilizer Union, successfully organized four special lectures on female employees’ rights protection in Chengdu and Ge’ermu. The initiative aimed to deepen legal education for female employees, strengthen awareness of rights protection, enhance the capacity to safeguard their interests, and foster a harmonious workplace environment.

At the Chengdu venue, speakers Li Wanling, Chen Yi, and Yang Yi delivered a lecture titled “Empowering Women Through Law: From Awareness to Understanding of Rights Protection.” Using a virtual character, Xiaomei, to illustrate professional and family life experiences, they systematically analyzed the legal risks women may encounter in six key scenarios, including rental disputes, living alone safety, maternity rights protection, and marital property management. The legal team provided practical legal guidance and actionable advice for rights protection based on real-world experience.

At the Ge’ermu venue, speakers Zhang Ting, Xu Sijia, and Nan Wenqing focused on “Legal Pillars of ‘Her Power’: Protecting Rights in Family and Workplace.” The lecture addressed the core needs of female employees, covering protection during the four key periods (pregnancy, childbirth, lactation, and menstruation) and workplace rights such as equal employment. The sessions involved staff from Zangge Potash Fertilizer headquarters, the salt lake workshop, and the Zangge Lithium Plant.

This program not only demonstrates the company’s deep recognition of and commitment to the value of female employees but also reflects the ESG governance philosophy of Zangge Mining in action. The company will continue to strengthen legal awareness campaigns, improve mechanisms for safeguarding employees’ rights, and promote a more equitable workplace through institutionalized measures, thereby laying a rule-of-law foundation for high-quality development.
