Logistics Department Conducts Special Food Safety Inspection in Employee Canteens

Recently, following multiple food safety issues highlighted during the “3·15” Consumer Rights Day Gala, the Logistics Department of the company took immediate action by conducting a special food safety inspection on all employee canteens in the Lake District on March 19. The inspection focused on key areas such as food shelf life, staff qualifications, food procurement and storage, processing operations, and environmental hygiene, aiming to strengthen the safety of employees’ meals.

The inspection results showed that the overall management of the canteens in the Lake District was well-regulated. All staff held valid health certificates, and procurement records for staple ingredients such as rice, flour, oil, and meat were complete and clear. No expired or spoiled food was found. Food sampling, raw and cooked food segregation, and cooking procedures all complied with standards, and no violations were observed during the inspection. A few minor issues were identified in some kitchen areas, such as hygiene blind spots and cluttered storage. The Logistics Department issued on-site rectification notices, assigning responsibilities to specific personnel to ensure timely corrective actions.

Recognizing that food safety directly affects the health and well-being of all employees, the Logistics Department will use this inspection as an opportunity to establish a regular supervision mechanism, continuously track rectification progress, optimize kitchen zoning labels and workflows, and advance standardized canteen management. By strengthening daily supervision and improving supplier management, the company aims to enhance overall food safety control, ensuring employees enjoy safe and high-quality meals on a sustainable, long-term basis.
