Company Conducts Special Training on the New “Mineral Resources Law”
To accurately grasp the legislative intent and practical requirements of the newly revised “Mineral Resources Law of the People’s Republic of China” and to ensure close alignment between corporate strategic planning and legal compliance, the company organized a special training session titled “Interpretation of the New Mineral Resources Law” on April 22. Over 150 participants, including management and key business personnel from the group headquarters and subsidiaries, attended the training through a combination of online and offline formats.

The training featured a professional lecture by Lawyer Lu Xiaowu, a member of the Management Committee of Qinghai Shuren Law Firm and head of the firm’s mining sector. Lawyer Lu serves as a committee member of the Legal Professional Committee of the China Mining Association and as Deputy Secretary-General of the Collaborative Innovation Platform for Mineral Resources and Materials Applications. He possesses extensive practical experience in mineral resource law.

The training was structured around four core modules: the evolution of the Mineral Resources Law, an overview of the latest revisions, detailed interpretation of key content (including legal codification of policies, innovations and reforms, and optimization of existing regulations), and questions for reflection. Lawyer Lu combined typical case studies to analyze the impact of the new law on mining enterprises, offered targeted compliance management recommendations, and guided participants in discussions on challenging legal application issues.
This specialized training helped the company’s management and business personnel fully understand the legislative direction and institutional innovations of the new Mineral Resources Law, laying a solid foundation for its implementation. Moving forward, the company will closely monitor the formulation of supporting regulations, such as the Implementation Regulations of the Mineral Resources Law, adjust business strategies in a timely manner, continuously enhance its compliance management system, and ensure the effective implementation of the new law.
