Zangge Lithium Successfully Concludes the “May Day & Youth Day” Tug-of-War Competition
To celebrate International Labor Day (May 1st) and Youth Day (May 4th), and to further enrich employees’ extracurricular cultural life, strengthen team spirit, enhance cross-department communication, and showcase the positive spirit of the workforce, the Comprehensive Department of Ge’ermu Zangge Lithium Co., Ltd. meticulously organized a series of themed activities. The events included sports competitions, labor skills contests, and tug-of-war, receiving enthusiastic participation from employees.
On the afternoon of April 27th at 14:00, the highly anticipated tug-of-war competition concluded successfully. Departments across Zangge Lithium actively participated, forming elite teams to compete. On the field, participants were spirited and energetic, fully engaged in this intense contest of strength and teamwork, demonstrating the values of unity, perseverance, and youthful vitality.

A total of six teams, each composed of 12 employees, competed. The tournament followed a group elimination format, consisting of preliminary and final rounds. From the outset, fierce competition heated up the venue. At the referee’s whistle, participants gripped the rope tightly, leaned back with steady footing, and pulled together with coordinated effort. Focused expressions, determined eyes, and synchronized chants reflected the teams’ collective determination, while cheering spectators energized the atmosphere, blending with the competitors’ efforts to create a vivid symphony of team spirit and struggle.

After multiple rounds of intense competition, the Sedimentation Workshop, Nanofiltration Workshop, and Adsorption Workshop teams emerged as finalists. In the finals, the contest intensified, with each team showcasing strong skill and perseverance. Ultimately, the Sedimentation Workshop team claimed the championship through outstanding teamwork and coordination, the Nanofiltration Workshop team took second place, and the Adsorption Workshop team secured third place.

The tug-of-war competition was not merely a sporting event but also a platform for consolidating team spirit and transmitting corporate culture. Through the activity, employees were able to relax and exercise outside of their regular work, enhance mutual communication, and strengthen cross-team collaboration. The demonstrated values of perseverance, unity, and never giving up will continue to inspire employees in their daily work, motivating them to contribute to the company’s ongoing development and success.
