Zangge Mining Successfully Concludes the 2025 “May Day” Skills Competition
To thoroughly implement the requirements for building a modern industrial workforce and to vigorously promote the spirit of model workers, labor, and craftsmanship, Zangge Mining successfully held the 2025 “May Day” Skills Competition this month.

Themed “Showcasing Skills, Strengthening Competence through Competition,” the event featured 12 competition categories, attracting over 500 employees from various production units. More than 160 outstanding participants were recognized for their performance, fully demonstrating the professional skills and dedication of the workforce.
Spanning a month, the competition included traditional skill categories such as fitting, electrical work, locomotive operation, and construction machinery operation, as well as company-specific processes like potash flotation, salt washing processes, and KCl sample analysis. Highlight events such as culinary arts competitions and welding/cutting drew particular attention due to their combination of professionalism and spectator appeal. During the competition, the company’s union also organized employees to participate in the Second Ge’ermu City Employee Skills Competition, where three electricians were awarded the title of “Outstanding Participants,” achieving dual-track skill development both internally and externally.
The competition was conducted with rigorous organization and full employee engagement, ensuring professionalism and precision in every task. Judges maintained strict impartiality, while supporting staff provided comprehensive technical and logistical support, collectively guaranteeing the event’s successful execution.

As a key driver of the company’s talent-strengthening strategy, the skills competition served as an exemplary platform for training through competition and talent development. Departments leveraged the event to deepen on-the-job training, foster a culture that respects labor and values skills, and continuously improve the long-term mechanism for cultivating skilled talent, laying a solid foundation for the company’s high-quality, professional, and refined operational development.
