The Company Youth League Committee Organized a “May Fourth” Youth Day Speech Contest

To thoroughly implement the Party-building–led Youth League-building policy, vigorously promote the May Fourth Spirit with its core values of patriotism, progress, democracy, and science, and fully demonstrate the positive and energetic spirit of young employees in the new era, the Company Youth League Committee organized a themed speech contest on May 8 in celebration of the “May Fourth” Youth Day. With the theme “Youth Power Converging on the Zangge Path · Sunshine Paving a New Journey”, 34 young employees from various departments competed on the same stage. Using speeches as their medium, they showcased the vitality and fighting spirit of Zangge youth in the new era. Leaders of the Company Youth League Committee and department heads attended the event and served as judges.

At the contest, participants centered their speeches on the theme, combining their own work practices and personal growth experiences. With sincere emotions and vivid language, they told stories of young employees striving and persevering on different fronts such as production lines and quality control. Some contestants shared touching accounts of colleagues’ selfless dedication and professionalism, conveying the uplifting energy of youth; others expressed their aspirations and determination for the future, pledging to devote their youthful strength to the company’s development. Through passionate tones and vivid examples, the young employees told inspiring stories of youth, dreams, and perseverance from different perspectives, repeatedly bringing the atmosphere to a climax and allowing the audience to feel as though they were immersed in the magnificent years of history, deeply experiencing the powerful spirit of May Fourth.

Based on comprehensive evaluations of speech content, language expression, and stage performance, the judges awarded Ana from the Quality Management Department first prize; Wu Xiaoping and Yang Qingxiong from the Transportation Department second prize; and Zhang Qingyun from the Utilities Department, Luo Caihong from the Transportation Department, and Zhao Yue from the Logistics Management Department third prize.

This event not only provided a platform for young employees to showcase themselves but also further inspired the patriotic enthusiasm and fighting spirit of the broader youth workforce. Contestants generally stated that the competition allowed them to gain both ideological tempering and capability improvement, and that they would transform the passion ignited by the contest into concrete actions to excel in their posts and contribute to the company’s development.
