The First Members’ Congress of the Trade Union of Zangge Lithium Successfully Concluded

On May 15, 2025, the First Members’ Congress of the Trade Union of Golmud Zangge Lithium Co., Ltd. was solemnly held in the company’s Party Members’ Activity Room in the lake area. More than 40 official representatives and invited guests gathered together to discuss the future development of the trade union. This congress marks an important milestone in the political life of all employees, signifying that the company’s trade union work has officially embarked on a new journey toward standardization, institutionalization, and democratization.

The congress opened with the stirring sound of the national anthem. Comrade Yang Baolong, Secretary of the Company’s Party Branch, and Comrade Yuan Youlin, Deputy General Manager of Administration, delivered passionate opening speeches. They fully affirmed the important role of the trade union in the company’s development process, emphasizing that the union is the representative and defender of employees’ interests and the bridge and link between the Party and the workforce. They expressed hope that the first trade union committee would conscientiously fulfill its duties, focus on the company’s central tasks, unite and lead employees to actively participate in the company’s development, and contribute wisdom and strength to achieving high-quality growth.

In strict accordance with the Constitution of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and the Regulations on the Election of Grassroots Trade Union Organizations, the congress reviewed and adopted the Election Measures (Draft) of the First Members’ Congress of the Trade Union of Golmud Zangge Lithium Co., Ltd., the list of scrutineers and ballot counters, as well as the lists of candidates for the Trade Union Committee and the Fund Review Committee.

During the election process, delegates, with a strong sense of responsibility and mission, carefully filled in their ballots. After an orderly vote count, the congress elected the First Trade Union Committee and the First Fund Review Committee of Golmud Zangge Lithium Co., Ltd. Comrades Yuan Youlin, Xie Haiyan, Hu Guangyu, and six others were elected as members of the First Trade Union Committee. Comrade Yuan Youlin was elected Chairman of the Trade Union, Comrade Xie Haiyan was elected Vice Chairman, and Comrades Wu Xiao, Yang Baolong, and another colleague were elected members of the Fund Review Committee, with Wu Xiao elected as its Director.

In accordance with the Regulations on the Work of Women’s Committees of Trade Unions, the First Women’s Committee was established upon the nomination and consultation of the newly elected Trade Union Committee, consisting of Comrades Zhang Wanjuan, Yan Weimei, and Zhao Jing, with Zhao Jing elected as Director.

After the election, the newly elected committee representative, Comrade Wu Xiao, delivered a speech. He expressed heartfelt gratitude for the trust and support of all representatives and stated that the new Trade Union Committee would closely align with the company’s core work, conscientiously perform its functions, safeguard employees’ legitimate rights and interests, enrich employees’ cultural lives, strengthen the union’s own development, and strive to build a workforce that is ideal-driven, technically innovative, responsible, and dedicated, thereby contributing to the company’s progress.

Subsequently, Trade Union Chairman Yuan Youlin, on behalf of the company’s administration, warmly congratulated the successful convening of the congress and the newly elected members of the Trade Union Committee, Fund Review Committee, and Women’s Committee. He pointed out that the company is at a critical stage of rapid development, facing both opportunities and challenges. The trade union must fully leverage its organizational strengths, unite and guide employees to stand firmly in their posts, be innovative and creative, and make contributions to the company’s development. At the same time, the company’s administration will, as always, support the union’s work, provide the necessary conditions and guarantees for union activities, and jointly foster a harmonious and stable development environment.

Amid the resounding strains of The Internationale, the First Members’ Congress of the Trade Union of Golmud Zangge Lithium Co., Ltd. successfully concluded. The successful convening of this congress has pointed out the direction for the company’s trade union work and laid a solid foundation. The new Trade Union Committee will take this congress as a starting point, remain true to its mission, live up to expectations, unite and lead all employees with greater enthusiasm, higher morale, and a more pragmatic style, and write a new chapter in the company’s high-quality development.
