Zangge Laos Company Carries Out a Series of “Safety Production Month” Activities

This June marks the 25th national “Safety Production Month,” with the theme of “Everyone Talks About Safety, Everyone Knows Emergency Response — Identifying and Rectifying Risks and Hazards.” To thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important statements on production safety, strictly comply with local laws and regulations on production safety in Laos, and firmly uphold the working principle of “safety first, prevention foremost, and comprehensive governance,” Zangge Laos Company made coordinated arrangements and advanced efforts on multiple fronts. It organized a series of targeted safety activities, including thematic safety publicity and education, comprehensive hazard inspections across all areas, and practical fire emergency drills, comprehensively consolidating the foundation of production safety management for its overseas project.

As part of the “Safety Production Month” activities, the Company made practical fire emergency drills a core measure for capability enhancement, following the approach of “promoting learning through drills and applying learning in practice.” Focusing on key procedures such as initial fire response, personnel evacuation, and hands-on use of firefighting equipment, the Company carried out immersive practical drills.

All participating employees took part throughout the process and worked in coordination with one another. Through practical scenarios, they became more familiar with emergency response procedures, effectively strengthening employees’ risk anticipation awareness, rapid response capabilities, and team-based emergency rescue coordination, while further reinforcing the safety protection network at the project site.

Taking into account the employment practices of the Laos project, the Company carried out targeted fire safety training by level and category. Adopting an integrated teaching model combining theoretical instruction and on-site practice, the training systematically covered key topics such as fire source prevention and control, fire alarm procedures, fire escape skills, and the proper use of fire extinguishers and fire hoses.

For Lao local employees, the Company specially invited firefighting professionals from the Public Security Bureau of Xaythany District, Laos, to deliver on-site training. Drawing on typical local fire cases in Laos, the trainers analyzed the causes of accidents and explained practical key points for disaster prevention, risk avoidance, self-rescue, and mutual assistance in accessible language. These efforts ensured that local employees could understand the content, master the knowledge, and apply the skills in practice, effectively closing the “last mile” of overseas localized safety education.

Production safety is an ongoing responsibility, with only a starting point and no finish line. Zangge Laos Company will continue to deepen the implementation of its primary responsibility for production safety, regularly carry out safety publicity and education for all employees, closed-loop on-site hazard inspections, and practical emergency drills, and further improve the graded risk prevention and control system for its overseas project.

The Company will continue to enhance its overall safety management, control, and emergency response capabilities, providing a stable and safe environment to support high-quality development.
