Zangge Potash Fertilizer Launches 2026 Safety Production Month Campaign, Mobilizing Comprehensive Efforts to Identify and Rectify Safety Risks and Hazards
To implement the spirit and deployment requirements of the 25th national “Safety Production Month” campaign, Zangge Potash Fertilizer officially held the launch ceremony for its 2026 “Safety Production Month” campaign on May 28. The Company made comprehensive arrangements for a series of activities under the theme “Everyone Talks About Safety, Everyone Knows Emergency Response — Identifying and Rectifying Risks and Hazards.” Members of the Company’s leadership team, management personnel at or above the team leader level from all workshops, as well as heads and safety management personnel of external contractors, attended the ceremony.

The meeting conveyed the recent important instructions and requirements from relevant higher-level authorities on production safety. In line with the Company’s actual production and operational conditions, it also provided a systematic interpretation of, and made work arrangements for, the Company’s 2026 Implementation Plan for “Safety Production Month.” Kou Fucheng, Director of Safety and Environmental Protection of the Company, attended the meeting and delivered a specialized speech. He analyzed the current production safety situation and potential risks facing the Company, and, from the perspective of economic benefits, compared “investment in preventive safety measures” with “potential accident losses” to explain with data the core principle that “safety delivers the greatest benefit.” He also reiterated the Company’s consistent position of upholding “life first, safety foremost” and the principles of “zero tolerance and strict management.”
In response to the key priorities and challenges in current safety management, the meeting set out five special measures. First, the Company will promote video-based safety training by using short videos for warning education and case-based instruction, enhancing the vividness and effectiveness of training. Second, it will carry out dedicated traffic safety governance by strictly controlling vehicle use, implementing standardized commuter transport management, and strengthening process monitoring through technological tools. Third, it will deepen frontline team safety development, with a focus on the strict on-site implementation of systems such as shift handover and operational supervision. Fourth, it will strengthen forward-looking risk identification, promoting the shift of hazard investigation and rectification toward prevention in advance and source control. Fifth, it will reinforce the responsibility of leaders on duty, implementing a dual-duty mechanism involving senior executives and middle management during key periods and in critical areas to ensure full-coverage safety supervision with no blind spots.

An Shoujun, Executive Deputy General Manager of the Company, delivered a mobilization speech. He noted that the Company is currently at a critical stage marked by the overlap of the flood season and the peak production period, making the production safety situation severe and complex. All employees, especially management personnel at all levels, must fully recognize the importance of production safety and resolutely avoid complacency or a mentality of leaving things to chance.
An Shoujun further set out ten specific work requirements. First, the Company must reinforce the implementation of safety responsibilities for each position and extend safety accountability to the frontline. Second, it must strengthen hazard investigation and rectification by carrying out comprehensive inspections and remediation in key areas. Third, it must deepen safety education for all employees and improve safety competence at the team level. Fourth, it must strictly implement responsibility at each management level and strengthen accountability. Fifth, it must ensure the effective implementation of the safety responsibility system and clarify the boundaries of responsibilities and authority for each position. Sixth, it must advance the standardization of safety management. Seventh, it must strengthen dedicated safety supervision and implement area-based responsibility management. Eighth, it must establish a long-term mechanism by drawing on environmental governance experience to address weaknesses in safety management. Ninth, it must strengthen the management of external contractors by applying strict access control and rigorous ongoing management. Tenth, it must improve incentive and supervision mechanisms, make effective use of safety rewards and the internal reporting system, encourage employees to act as safety “whistleblowers,” and actively foster a collaborative production safety governance framework in which everyone assumes responsibility, fulfills their duties, and benefits from a safer workplace.

At the end of the meeting, all participants watched a production safety warning education video and solemnly signed the commitment banner for the “Safety Production Month” campaign, expressing their shared determination to strengthen the Company’s safety defenses.
In his concluding remarks, An Shoujun emphasized that “Safety Production Month” is by no means a temporary task, but an important opportunity for the Company to continuously improve its safety governance system and enhance its safety governance capabilities. All units should take this campaign as a new starting point, translate all work arrangements into concrete measures, and implement them across every work process. These efforts will further consolidate the safety foundation for the Company’s high-quality development and support its continued commitment to safeguarding employees’ health and safety as well as the long-term stability of the enterprise.
