Zangge Mining Holds Women’s Day Event to Promote Employee Health and Wellbeing
To further implement the Company’s care for female employees and enhance their health literacy and self-care awareness, the Labor Union of Zangge Mining, together with several Party branches, successfully held a themed event titled “Caring for Women’s Health, Showcasing Women’s Excellence” on March 5, ahead of International Women’s Day. The event adopted a video connection format between Golmud and Chengdu, combining centralized offline lectures with simultaneous online participation to ensure broad coverage of female employees in both locations.

At the beginning of the event, Comrade Xiao Bing, a member of the Company’s Discipline Inspection Commission, on behalf of the Company’s labor union and administrative management, extended sincere holiday greetings to all female employees in both locations and emphasized that health is a solid foundation for both personal growth and the Company’s development.
The event specially invited Li Deju and Ma Jieting, associate chief physicians from the Second People’s Hospital of Golmud, to deliver thematic lectures. Dr. Li Deju gave a lecture titled “Prevention of Cervical Cancer”, explaining in an accessible manner the prevention strategy of “early vaccination and early screening” for cervical cancer, and providing professional guidance on HPV vaccination.
Dr. Ma Jieting delivered a lecture titled “A Health Essential for Workplace Professionals”. Addressing common neck, shoulder, waist, and leg pain among office workers, she analyzed the causes and demonstrated proper sitting posture and simple, effective acupressure techniques on site, offering practical guidance on traditional Chinese medicine-based care and daily health protection. The lecture content was closely aligned with practical needs and was well received by participants.

Huang Xi, a member of the Women Employees Committee of the Zangge Mining Labor Union, delivered a summary of the event. Huang Xi fully affirmed the relevance and practical value of the lectures and emphasized the importance of strengthening women’s work through Party-building initiatives. She encouraged all female employees to develop a strong sense of responsibility as the primary guardians of their own health, translate health knowledge into daily habits that promote wellbeing, and continue to demonstrate dedication and contribution in their respective roles across the Company.

At the end of the event, the Company’s labor union and administrative departments presented thoughtfully prepared holiday gifts to all female employees, expressing appreciation and care for their hard work and dedication, and allowing them to feel the warmth and pride of being an important part of Zangge Mining.
The themed activity not only effectively promoted health knowledge and enhanced female employees’ self-care awareness, but also, through the approach of strengthening women’s initiatives through Party-building, further fostered a corporate culture that respects and supports women while enhancing team cohesion and unity.
