Zangge Mining Conducts ESG-Themed Training for Contractors

       Recently, Zangge Mining organized an ESG-themed training session for key management personnel of its contractors as well as staff from relevant functional departments. Focusing on practical aspects of production operations and project management, the training systematically communicated the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) management requirements applicable to contractors throughout their operational activities.

       From an ESG management perspective, the session addressed key safety risks, environmental impacts, and compliance issues that contractors need to manage during construction, maintenance, and overhaul activities. It further clarified contractorsmanagement responsibilities and accountability boundaries across the entire operational lifecycle. Drawing on specific operational scenarios, the training analyzed common ESG risks related to workforce organization, on-site operations, process execution, and corrective actions. It emphasized the importance of early risk identification and the full integration of ESG management into all stages of operational activities.

 

 

       In terms of occupational health and safety, the training emphasized strengthening employee health protection and operational risk controls to reduce the incidence of accidents and work-related injuries. With respect to environmental management, it clearly defined management responsibilities across key areas, including water resource use, hazardous waste disposal, pollutant emission control, and energy efficiency improvement, guiding contractors to embed ESG requirements into their day-to-day operations.

       From the perspective of the Companys overall risk and compliance management, the training also explained the close linkage between contractorsoperational practices and the Companys ESG management objectives. It highlighted that contractors, as key stakeholders in the Companys operations, are now firmly within the scope of the Companys overall management oversight. By strengthening process supervision, information exchange, and accountability implementation, the Company aims to drive continuous alignment of contractorsdaily operations with its ESG management requirements.

       Through this training, contractors further deepened their understanding of Zangge Minings ESG priorities and strategic direction. Going forward, the Company will continue to enhance contractor engagement and management, jointly improving ESG performance and advancing the effective implementation of sustainable development practices.
