Zangge Potash Co., Ltd. Implements Multiple Measures to Promote Safe Resumption of Production in 2023

To ensure a good start and solid foundation for safe production in 2023, the company has continuously advanced graded risk management and hidden hazard investigation and remediation, rigorously implementing the “three managements and three musts” principle of the Production Safety Law, and strengthening the accountability of safety production. On February 22, the company’s potassium chloride production line resumed operation safely.

Special Safety Education and Training for Resumption of Work and Production

With the Spring Festival holiday quietly concluded, employees returned to a new round of busy work. After a fully relaxing holiday, departments have strictly followed the requirements of the Production Safety Law, enhancing pre-job training for employees, particularly focusing on safety education and training for new and transferred staff, to help employees quickly “refocus” and enter work rhythm with full energy.

Meanwhile, the Safety and Environmental Protection Department organized employees in all production workshops to study 2023 safety warning cases related to the resumption of work and production. Using these cases, the department emphasized the importance of safety production, summarized lessons learned from typical incidents, encouraged self-reflection on safety shortcomings, and used vivid cases, including graphic videos and images, to deeply impress employees and enhance safety awareness.

Safety Inspection Activities for Resumption of Work and Production

To fully implement the safety production plan for resumption of work and production, from February 19 to 21, the Safety and Environmental Protection Department conducted inspections of key areas and risk points in all production workshops, oil depots, canteens, warehouses, and hydrochloric acid tank zones. Department heads were required to strictly enforce their responsibilities, prevent post-holiday laxity, eliminate violations of rules, and thoroughly identify and rectify safety gaps and hazards promptly.

Kick-off Meeting for Safe Resumption of Work and Production

To ensure comprehensive post-holiday safety production, deploy safety and fire prevention measures for resumption of work, and further improve the company’s safety production status, a “2023 Kick-off Meeting for Safe Resumption of Work and Production” was held on February 21 at 14:00, with participation from all departments.

The meeting required all production departments to remain highly alert, clearly understand the complex and severe safety situation, and effectively organize and implement safety measures during the resumption of work. The Safety and Environmental Protection Department guides departments to conduct comprehensive risk assessments, implement preventive measures, arrange production scientifically, and ensure standards, education, regulations, inspections, and corrective actions are fully in place. The “safety first, life paramount” philosophy should be implemented on the production front line and by every employee. Safety responsibilities must be communicated and implemented layer by layer, ensuring accountability for each responsible person, establishing a company-wide participatory and supervisory safety system.
