Zangge Mining Launches the First ESG Training of 2023

On June 13, Zangge Mining conducted its first ESG training of 2023 through a combination of on-site and online sessions. A total of 44 participants from 34 departments across Zangge Mining and its subsidiaries attended. The training covered four main areas: ESG basic knowledge, the importance of ESG work, the annual ESG work plan, and progress arrangements. Afterward, participants actively shared their thoughts and discussed ESG-related topics.

The training combined theoretical knowledge with case studies to explain the basics of ESG and the importance of ESG work, helping colleagues from different professional backgrounds gain a clear understanding of ESG. Next, the annual ESG work plan and progress schedule were presented, with a focus on the company’s approach to building an ESG indicator system and suggestions for improving ESG data quality. Participants then shared their own views, discussing their understanding of ESG, questions, challenges encountered in their work, and possible solutions. Finally, Mr. Li Ruixue, the company’s Board Secretary, provided a brief summary, emphasizing the need to continue promoting ESG knowledge and continuously enhancing employees’ ESG expertise.

For most Zangge employees, ESG is a brand-new concept, but everyone has shown an open and welcoming attitude toward it. They approached learning ESG with great enthusiasm and actively integrated ESG into their daily work by establishing work logs and organizing ESG-related tasks. Through this training, Zangge Mining employees have gained a deeper understanding of ESG, which will help advance the company’s ESG initiatives more effectively.
