The Company Party Committee Carries Out a Series of Activities for the July 1st Celebration

To solemnly celebrate the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, fully implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and the 14th Provincial Party Congress, and strengthen theoretical armament and organizational building, the Company Party Committee launched a July 1st themed series of activities under the theme “Inheriting Red Memories, Building a Bright Zangge.” These activities aimed to promote patriotism, enhance Party members’ awareness, carry forward fine revolutionary traditions, and create a new landscape for Party-building.

Commending Role Models and Striving for Excellence

On July 4, the Party Committee held a July 1st commendation meeting to recognize outstanding Party members and activists who excelled in 2022 and during epidemic prevention and control. A total of 20 “Outstanding Party Members” and 15 “Anti-Epidemic Pioneers” received plaques and trophies. The meeting called on all Party members to firmly uphold ideals and convictions, support the “Two Establishes,” practice the “Two Upholds,” and learn from and emulate role models.

Caring for Employees and Showing Party Concern

Through research and consultation, the Party Committee identified the needs of employees facing difficulties and decided to provide 3,000 yuan in relief funds to three Party members and staff in hardship. This demonstrated the Party’s care and encouraged all to contribute with vigor to the company’s development.

Self-Discipline and Staying True to the Original Aspiration

On the afternoon of July 4, Party Secretary Wang Jubao delivered a special lecture titled “Being a Good Party Member and a Good Cadre” to 75 Party members and activists. He stressed the importance of discipline, interpreted the Six Party Disciplines and the Eight-Point Regulation, and urged Party members to practice self-restraint, remain upright and honest, and act with integrity.

Passing on the Revolutionary Spirit

On July 8, the Party Committee organized 60 Party members and activists to watch the patriotic film “The Power Code.” The film depicted the sacrifices of Communists safeguarding the Party Constitution during the White Terror, leaving the audience deeply moved and inspired by their revolutionary spirit.

Honoring Martyrs and Envisioning the Future

On July 12, 59 Party members and activists visited the Highway Culture Exhibition Hall and the Kunlun Mountain Geological Park Museum. The visit provided insights into Ge’ermu’s cultural heritage, ethnic unity, and the Kunlun region’s significant role in Chinese civilization.

Correcting Motives and Strengthening Convictions

On July 13, the Party Committee held the 2023 training session for prospective Party members. Secretary Wang Jubao delivered the lecture covering five aspects: the Party’s history, nature and purpose, membership requirements, rights and obligations, and the new expectations set by the 20th Party Congress. He stressed that being a Party member means dedication and sacrifice. At the end, 42 participants took a test and all passed.

Great principles are simple, and action matters most. The Company Party Committee will use this July 1st series of activities as an opportunity to carry forward the spirit of the Party’s founding, stay true to its mission, strengthen its role as a fortress and vanguard, and inject spiritual strength into the company’s high-quality development, contributing Zangge’s power to the cause of Chinese-style modernization.
