Cangge Mining “Yixing Hongguang — Education Donation” Project

To thoroughly implement the Party’s educational policies, actively cultivate and practice the core values of socialism, fulfill the educational requirements of “people-oriented, moral education first, ability-focused, and comprehensive development,” and uphold the principles of “staying true to our original mission, remembering the source of wealth, helping those in need, and giving back to society,” Cangge Mining Co., Ltd. established the “Yixing Hongguang” public welfare project, dedicated to social causes and demonstrating corporate social responsibility through concrete actions.

1. Supporting Quality Education

In December 2023, Cangge Mining Co., Ltd. donated RMB 2.184 million to the Shanghai True Love Dream Public Welfare Foundation to support education. The donation aims to provide targeted assistance through the foundation, build a teaching support platform for quality education, help more underprivileged students access educational resources, inspire them to pursue excellence, and contribute to their hometown’s development and social prosperity.

2. Targeted Assistance for Underprivileged Students

From January 2 to 5, Ms. Tian Zhangyun, Director of the General Manager’s Office of Cangge Mining Co., Ltd. and Assistant General Manager of Cangge Potash Co., led a team together with the director of the Fangcun Public Welfare Fund to conduct the “Corporate Education Assistance” project in impoverished mountainous areas of Datong County, Qinghai, and Kangle County, Gansu. A total of RMB 325,000 was provided to 45 children from poor families in Datong County and 45 underprivileged high school students in Kangle County, helping to reduce the financial burden on these families.

During the field visits to impoverished families in Datong County and Kangle County, it was discovered that 12 families were facing extreme hardship due to serious illness, family changes, unstable income, or parental divorce. On behalf of the company, Ms. Tian distributed a one-time cash subsidy of RMB 5,000 to each of these 12 families, and kindly encouraged the students to maintain a positive and optimistic attitude, overcome temporary difficulties, complete their studies, and use knowledge to change their destiny.
