As the saying goes, “The first work of spring sets the tone for the year.” On February 27, Zangge Potash Fertilizer held its 2024 Post-Spring Festival “Back-to-Work” Meeting and Work Resumption Deployment in the Lake District. The meeting provided a comprehensive summary of duty operations during the Spring Festival and outlined key tasks for 2024. Attendees included Vice General Manager An Shoujun, Assistant to the General Manager Xiao Bin, heads of departments and workshops, and team leaders and above.

Vice General Manager An Shoujun commended the Lake District departments for their duty and vigilance during the Spring Festival and expressed sincere gratitude and greetings to employees who stayed on the front lines during the holiday.
The meeting reviewed the notice from the Golmud Emergency Management Bureau on ensuring safe work resumption and production in the city’s chemical enterprises. Departments signed the 2024 Safety Production Target Responsibility Agreements. Heads of the Production Management, Utilities, Safety & Environmental Protection, and Logistics Departments summarized duty operations during the holiday and outlined plans for post-festival work resumption and key tasks for the year.
The meeting required all employees to quickly readjust their mindset, leave the holiday mood behind, and ensure “presence in both body and mind.” Employees should mentally and physically transition back to work, immediately activate work mode, strictly implement responsibilities, follow their respective roles, and carefully organize tasks to ensure a strong start for achieving this year’s objectives.

The meeting pointed out five areas that company managers need to improve
Based on the company’s current situation, managers need to address the following five shortcomings:
Insufficient innovation awareness
Lack of decisiveness in work

Low work initiative
Weak forward-looking thinking
Insufficient self-learning ability
To address these shortcomings, the company proposed nine improvement measures
Have clear goals: Departments should set departmental and individual goals based on the company’s overall strategic objectives and carry out work in a goal-oriented manner
Plan actions carefully: Work should be guided by clear plans, which must be strictly implemented
Take responsibility: Each employee should understand their role and work with strong sense of responsibility and mission
Execute with strength: Execution is key to achieving goals; departments must rigorously implement company decisions
Communicate effectively: Strengthen collaboration, ensure timely information sharing, and establish effective communication mechanisms to improve efficiency
Learn and improve: Recognize personal weaknesses and improve oneself based on job development needs
Innovate boldly: Encourage innovative thinking and be willing to try new methods and ideas
Build team cohesion: Support and understand each other, and face challenges together
Unite and take initiative: Align goals and proactively ensure a strong start
The meeting emphasized that all units must: 1) strictly implement work resumption and production plans; 2) strictly enforce safety education and training measures; 3) rigorously conduct hazard inspections and risk prevention. Management at all levels should act with integrity and awareness, strengthen discipline and bottom-line consciousness, and ensure smooth, efficient operations to usher in a productive and promising new year.
