Secretary Liu Chen and Delegation from Hotan Visit Our Company for Inspection and Exchange

On April 8, Secretary Liu Chen of the Hotan Prefecture Party Committee, along with Standing Deputy Commissioner Zeng Guanjun and other committee members, visited our company for an inspection and discussion. During the meeting, both parties conducted in-depth exchanges on mineral resource development and industrial park construction in Hotan, reaching broad consensus.

During the discussion, Vice Chairman Xiao Yao introduced the company’s industrial layout and mineral resources. He highlighted that as one of China’s leading mining enterprises, Zangge Mining possesses abundant resources and advanced industry technologies. In particular, the company’s lithium division utilizes ultra-low lithium brine extraction technology, which is highly efficient and environmentally friendly, making it well-suited for the development of Hotan’s salt lake resources. Vice Chairman Xiao also shared the company’s recent achievements in exploration, mining, and processing, emphasizing the steady growth across its three main businesses—potash, lithium, and copper—which have contributed positively to local economic and social development.

In addition, Mr. Guo Kai, Executive Vice General Manager of Sichuan Luran Group, and Mr. Liu Shangquan, Vice Chairman and General Manager of Chongqing Yuhan Electronic Technology, introduced the operations and management concepts of the Luran Shehong Industrial Park and Chongqing Industrial Park, respectively. Mr. Guo explained that the Shehong Industrial Park integrates education, agriculture, and technology, with a focus on the lithium battery industry chain. It has become a full-chain enterprise covering cathodes, anodes, separators, finished batteries, and battery recycling. Mr. Liu described the operation of the Chongqing Electronic Circuit Industrial Park and Rongchang Chuanyu New Energy Industrial Park, highlighting their important roles in promoting local economic development and industrial upgrading.

Secretary Liu Chen and his delegation expressed high appreciation for Zangge Mining and all parties involved in the discussions, fully recognizing the achievements in mineral resource development and industrial park construction. Secretary Liu emphasized that cooperation should focus on three key points: “Zangge’s needs, Luran’s ideas, and Hotan’s resources.” The Hotan region will actively support preliminary investment work and help identify breakthrough points for collaboration. Commissioner Zeng Guanjun stated that Hotan has abundant mineral resources and a favorable industrial environment, and the region will accelerate the public transfer of mineral rights this year. He encouraged Zangge Mining to focus on salt lake development while also exploring other mineral resources, and welcomed both Zangge Mining and Luran Group to jointly operate industrial parks, building a complete lithium battery supply chain from new materials to finished batteries, injecting new vitality into Hotan’s economic and social development.

All parties also engaged in in-depth discussions on future cooperation, agreeing to strengthen communication and collaboration and to explore new models and approaches for mineral resource development and industrial park construction. We believe that through joint efforts, these collaborations will yield substantial results, achieving mutual benefit and common development, and making positive contributions to the economic and social development of Xinjiang and the entire country.
