Company Holds 2024 Annual Firefighting Competition

To thoroughly implement the “119” Fire Safety Awareness Month and further enhance employees’ fire safety awareness and emergency response capabilities, on November 28, the company’s Safety and Environmental Protection Department organized the 2024 Annual Firefighting Competition at the Lake District, with 10 teams and 51 employees participating.

The event included three individual competitions—“Wisdom and Courage,” “Bravery and Tenacity,” and “Intelligence and Valor”—as well as one team competition—“Mutual Help and Support.” Under the referees’ instructions, participating employees gave their all, racing against the clock, testing physical strength, endurance, and teamwork, fully achieving the goal of promoting training through competition and enhancing skills through practice.

After several intense rounds, the General Office team from the Public Facilities Department won first place in the team competition, with the First Workshop team from the Production Management Department and the Power Supply Center team from the Public Facilities Department taking second and third place, respectively. In the individual competitions, Ren Zhongxiang, Guo Shiqiang, and Xiao Piqin won first place; Liu Fadong, Wang Minghai, Nan Jintong, Shen Yanbin, and Zhang Li won second place; Jia Zhoujia, Ma Qiming, Qi Xuehong, Qin Chunping, Zhou Yudeng, Zhou Fangcheng, and Yang Qingxiu won third place.

Taking this “119” Fire Safety Awareness Month activity as an opportunity, the company will adhere to the firefighting work principle of “prevention first, combining prevention and firefighting,” implement more practical measures to advance safety production, comprehensively enhance the four core competencies of fire safety, and provide a solid guarantee for the company’s high-quality development.
