Zangge Mining Party Committee Launches Regular Volunteer Service Program with Golmud Special School

01. Using Party Building as a Pen to Draw New Chapters in Public Welfare

On March 17, the company’s Party Committee conducted an on-site visit to Golmud Special School. Led by Principal Wang Qi, seven members from the company’s Party and Cultural Affairs Department toured the school’s classrooms and dormitories, gaining close insight into the lives and educational needs of children with special needs.

During a party-building themed discussion, both sides explored a plan for regular volunteer services, including academic tutoring, interest development, psychological counseling, social practice, and daily care. The program aims to organize at least one volunteer activity per month, enhancing the social skills and sense of social belonging of special children and breaking down “school gate barriers.” This initiative represents another step in the Party Committee’s active fulfillment of corporate social responsibility and further expands the role of party-building in serving society.

02. Public Welfare Film Screening to Inspire New Motivation

On March 21, Vice Mayor Xu Rui of Golmud City, Party Committee Secretary Wang Jubao, and seven volunteers joined the special school’s teachers and students to watch the film “Ne Zha 2”. The movie, centered on the spirit of “my fate is determined by me, not by heaven,” tells the story of Ne Zha challenging destiny and protecting his home, resonating emotionally with the students.

Vice Mayor Xu Rui remarked, “May every student draw strength from Ne Zha’s story, continually push their limits in learning, pursue dreams bravely, and make the most of their youth.” A teacher shared, “Ne Zha’s journey mirrors the challenges faced by special children; this ‘breaking out of the cocoon’ spirit is exactly the example they need.” Secretary Wang Jubao added, “We will organize more cultural activities to break down ‘school gate barriers,’ helping children strengthen social recognition and work together to guide them toward a brighter future.”

03. Historical Reflection to Inherit Red Gene

On the eve of the Qingming Festival, Secretary Wang Jubao and Minister Li Guangjun led 12 volunteers from the company to Golmud General’s Building Park for a “Party Building Leads: Historical Reflection” volunteer activity with the school’s teachers and students. Guided by docents, students paid tribute to the statue of General Mu Shengzhong and the former site of the Qinghai-Tibet Highway Command, recalling the dedication of the road-building troops, who “fear neither hardship nor death.”

Leveraging the Qingming Festival, this activity highlighted the role of party-building in guiding social responsibility, promoting joint party organization initiatives between the school and company, and integrating red education with real-life growth. Volunteers, teachers, and students conducted ceremonies such as laying flowers and observing moments of silence, deeply commemorating the achievements of revolutionary martyrs. The event also embodied the Party Committee’s mission to enhance special children’s social skills and sense of belonging, supporting their better integration into society.

Through close interactions with the children, volunteers established deep emotional bonds and gained a profound understanding of the challenges and significance of special education. Volunteers expressed, “Whether as Party members, league members, or ordinary employees, we should contribute our part to society. The company provides a channel and platform for us, and we must actively participate and take each volunteer activity seriously, spreading the company’s culture and encouraging more people to engage in social development.”

As a “red engine” for enterprise development and a warm link between company and society, the Party Committee, guided by the company’s human-centered philosophy of “enterprise is people, enterprise depends on people, enterprise serves people”, launched the “Dream Together, Love in Action” regular volunteer program with Golmud Special School. The project not only empowers special children through diversified service activities but also provides company Party members, league members, and employees with a practical lesson in upholding original intentions and mission.
