Zangge Potash R&D Project Recognized as Scientific and Technological Achievement by Qinghai Province

Recently, Zangge Potash’s independently developed project, “Research on the Optimization of Hot Solution Potash Production Process and Equipment,” successfully passed expert evaluation organized by the Qinghai Provincial Department of Science and Technology and was officially recognized as a “Scientific and Technological Achievement of Qinghai Province.” This recognition highlights the company’s leading strength in technological innovation within the potash industry and underscores its commitment to driving industry-wide upgrades.

The project targeted technical bottlenecks in the traditional hot solution potassium chloride production process, focusing on systematic research into process and equipment optimization. Through innovative process improvements, the project achieved three major breakthroughs:

Significantly enhanced hot solution processing capacity;

Effectively reduced equipment investment requirements;

Greatly improved potassium chloride production efficiency.

Testing confirmed that the new process yields potassium chloride with a purity of up to 97%, with all technical indicators reaching advanced domestic standards.

The expert review committee unanimously concluded that this achievement represents an important breakthrough in process innovation and equipment optimization, providing strong demonstration value for enhancing the technological level of China’s potash industry.

Zangge Potash stated that this recognition marks a new starting point. The company will continue to increase R&D investment, deepen the application of technological innovation, and actively explore new models for the efficient development and utilization of salt lake resources—contributing greater scientific and technological strength to Qinghai Province’s goal of building a “world-class salt lake industry base.”
