Zangge Potash Strengthens Flood Season Safety Through Cross-Departmental Collaboration

To ensure workplace safety during the flood season, the Production Management Department of Zangge Potash recently coordinated a multi-departmental effort to successfully complete the reinforcement project of the No. 1 High-Level Diversion Main Channel, a key measure to safeguard safe production during this critical period.

The No. 1 High-Level Diversion Main Channel plays a vital role as the main conduit for transporting solvent agents, directly supporting the company’s production activities. To secure safe operations during the flood season, the company initiated early planning, deploying professional teams to conduct comprehensive inspections and assessments. In July, a scientific construction plan was formulated, adopting a combination of high-strength waterproof membrane coverage and hot-melt welding technology to reinforce the channel. Despite challenges such as high temperatures, the construction team completed the work to high standards, significantly improving the channel’s safety and protective capacity. The channel has now resumed normal operations, with daily inspections and regular maintenance measures in place to ensure long-term stability.

This project highlighted the strong cross-departmental collaboration within the company. From initial planning and on-site construction to quality supervision and logistical support, all departments worked closely together to establish an efficient and effective operational mechanism.
