Laotian Parliamentary Delegation Visits Zangge Mining (Laos) Development Co., Ltd.

On January 14, 2025, a parliamentary delegation led by Ms. Binkhan Lasathema, a member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly of Laos, visited Zangge Mining (Laos) Development Co., Ltd. to conduct an inspection, gaining in-depth understanding of potash resource surveying, exploration, and mining projects, with a focus on scientific development and sustainable practices.

In her opening remarks, Ms. Binkhan Lasathema highlighted that potash resources are a key strategic asset for Laos, playing a vital role in enhancing national economic development and improving livelihoods. During the meeting, the company presented a promotional video on the potash project, showcasing its development history, digital mine construction, environmental management and disaster prevention technologies, resource utilization, ESG initiatives, and strategic layout in Laos. Subsequently, General Manager Ms. Zhang Ping provided a detailed report on the latest progress in potash surveying and exploration, including geological conditions, exploration results, and future mining plans, demonstrating the company’s professional expertise in geological surveys and resource evaluation.

During the discussion session, delegation members engaged in in-depth exchanges on key topics such as technological innovation, resource protection measures, and economic benefits. Company experts provided detailed responses to the delegation’s questions. After the meeting, Ms. Binkhan Lasathema and her delegation, accompanied by Ms. Zhang Ping, toured the core storage facility to learn about the preservation and analysis of geological samples.
