Zangge Laos Company Holds Compliance Training to Support China-Laos Business Development

To proactively address compliance challenges in China-Laos cross-border business and comprehensively enhance corporate risk management capabilities, Zangge Laos Company organized a specialized training on “Cross-Border Logistics and Invoice Compliance” on July 4.

The training was led by Liu Ronghua, a senior lawyer from Yingke (Laos) Law Firm, and conducted in a hybrid format of online and offline sessions. Over 30 participants attended, including key staff and heads from the Laos finance and supply chain management departments, as well as colleagues from the domestic compliance and legal team.

The training focused on practical challenges in China-Laos trade and was structured around two core modules:

1. Legal Risk Prevention in Cross-Border Logistics

Lawyer Liu Ronghua provided an in-depth interpretation of local laws and regulations, including the “Laos Multimodal Transport Law” and the “Laos Land Transport Law.” Through typical case studies, he explained in detail how legal differences between China and Laos impact key aspects such as transport contract validity, party qualification verification, and liability determination for cargo loss. He also proposed systematic solutions, including contract clause optimization, appropriate insurance arrangements, and standardized operational procedures.

2. Invoice Compliance in Cross-Border Transactions

The training highlighted differences in invoice systems between China and Laos, focusing on invoice type management, the “Three-Flow Consistency” requirement (goods flow, fund flow, invoice flow), and export tax refund regulations. Key compliance operations for cross-border invoicing were clarified, with practical risk mitigation measures provided.

During the interactive session, participants actively raised questions related to their work. Leveraging his extensive practical experience, Lawyer Liu provided targeted answers to complex issues and offered highly actionable professional advice, creating a lively discussion atmosphere.

The training achieved remarkable results, significantly enhancing participants’ understanding of compliance requirements in China-Laos cross-border business and strengthening the company’s overall risk identification and control capabilities, laying a solid foundation for standardized and sustainable operations in the Laos market.

In the future, Zangge Laos Company will continue to deepen strategic cooperation with professional institutions, integrate compliance management throughout the business process, and continuously contribute to the development of the China-Laos Economic Corridor.
