Chairman Xiao Ning Conducts On-Site Supervision of Environmental Rectification at Chaerhan Salt Lake

On December 22, Xiao Ning, Chairman of Zangge Mining and Zangge Potash, conducted an on-site supervision of environmental rectification work at the production frontlines of Chaerhan Salt Lake.

At the plant site, Chairman Xiao visited the water intake pump station, production workshops, saltfield embankments, and other areas to gain a detailed understanding of ecological restoration, environmental protection, production safety, equipment management, and the selection of the new plant gate location. He inspected the progress of rectification measures, assessed the effectiveness of corrective actions, and supervised the on-site work to ensure follow-up tasks were thoroughly implemented.

In the afternoon, a “Special Meeting on Rectification of Ecological and Environmental Feedback Issues” was held in the meeting room on the third floor of the West Office Building at the lake area. The meeting was chaired by Vice General Manager Zhang Ping. Vice General Manager An Shoujun provided a detailed report on the progress of environmental rectification and the overall production situation for the year.

Chairman Xiao emphasized that the Central Environmental Inspection Team represents the authority of the central government. All company levels and departments must draw deep lessons from typical cases, assume responsibilities seriously, and carry out rectification work accurately, scientifically, and lawfully with full effort. He called for a “one case, multiple lessons” approach, promoting large-scale investigation, comprehensive rectification, and overall enhancement of ecological and environmental management. He stressed that no conditions, compromises, or shortcuts are allowed, and strong measures must be taken to ensure comprehensive rectification and overall improvement of the company’s ecological and environmental quality.

The activities were attended by Li Ruixue, Board Secretary; Xiao Bing, Assistant to the General Manager; and heads of the Production Management Department, Public Facilities Department, Safety and Environmental Protection Department, and Technology Department.
