In response to natural disasters and major emergencies, Zangge Mining reacts promptly, providing immediate aid and closely monitoring relief needs. The company contributes funds and materials to support local disaster relief and reconstruction, helping affected regions restore normal production and life. On January 7, 2025, a magnitude 6.8 earthquake struck Dingri County, Shigatse, Tibet, causing significant casualties and property damage. Zangge Mining immediately activated its emergency response mechanism and, through the Qinghai Red Cross, donated RMB 5 million to support emergency relief and post-disaster reconstruction efforts.

Beyond ensuring employee occupational health and safety, Zangge Mining engages in public health initiatives through donations and volunteer participation. In July 2024, the company donated RMB 280,000 to the Beijing Children’s Health Foundation to support the Second Summer Camp for Children with Scars at Beijing Children’s Hospital. In August 2024, three volunteers from the company joined the camp, assisting professional teams in delivering art therapy courses and outdoor activities to help children who suffered burns or scalds heal emotionally.

Since the launch of the “Yixing Hongguang” public welfare program in 2023, Zangge Mining has focused on education by funding students across all stages—from kindergarten to university—in impoverished rural areas. Additionally, Zangge Mining donated RMB 200,000 to support infrastructure development in Chana Village. These funds facilitated the “Qihong Station” project, fostering local economic innovation, diversifying income sources, and creating sustainable livelihoods for the community.

In its overseas operations, Zangge Mining promotes local economic and social development through local procurement, employment, and tax contributions. The company actively implements the Belt and Road Initiative, launching two potash projects in Belt and Road countries, respecting local customs and cultural heritage while engaging with local communities. In October 2024, during the “Party Building Integration, Lighting Up Micro-Wishes” initiative, the company fulfilled the wishes of four students at Zhanqian Road Primary School, providing backpacks, markers, stationery boxes, pens, and other school supplies.
