In 2024, Zangge Lithium received national green factory certification, establishing itself as an industry benchmark for green manufacturing. The company strictly implements national and regional requirements for resource extraction, flotation recovery, and overall resource utilization, achieving advanced domestic standards in these three metrics. Control systems have been upgraded to achieve unmanned and black-screen management, with phased software integration for real-time monitoring of raw material, water, and electricity consumption, further enhancing intelligent, green, and safe production.

Leveraging technological advantages, Zangge Lithium integrates, digitalizes, and automates adsorption, membrane-based impurity removal and concentration, ion exchange, and electrodialysis technologies to produce battery-grade lithium carbonate at a scale of 10,000 tons/year in the core Chaka Salt Lake area. In 2024, production reached 11,566 tons with sales of 13,582 tons. Zangge Mining’s indirectly held Mami Co. Salt Lake has lithium carbonate reserves of approximately 2.1774 million tons, with a total planned annual production of 100,000 tons; collectively, Ji Ze Chaka and Longmu Co. Salt Lakes hold about 3.9 million tons of lithium carbonate, 28 million tons of potassium chloride, and 3.3 million tons of boron (B₂O₃). In 2024, Zangge Lithium provided technical support to Tibet Ali Mami Co., promoting lithium extraction in low-concentration salt lakes in eastern Qaidam and aiming to establish a “Qinghai + Tibet” dual salt lake lithium production base.

Salt lake lithium extraction is key to China’s lithium security. Zangge Lithium has developed a “one-step” method for battery-grade lithium carbonate production from ultra-low-concentration lithium brine, integrating continuous adsorption, multi-stage membrane purification, and deep resin-based impurity removal.
