Zangge Laos Company Convenes Supplier Conference, Building Win-Win Partnerships Through Integrity and Clean Governance

On January 15, 2026, Zangge Mining (Laos) Development Co., Ltd. convened a Supplier Conference at the project site. A total of more than 60 participants, including representatives from 35 suppliers as well as the Company’s departments covering infrastructure construction, logistics, finance, geological mining, mechanical and electrical engineering, and supervision and audit, gathered to jointly discuss the advancement of clean and integrity-based cooperation. The conference aimed to use integrity as the bond and credibility as the foundation to regulate cooperative practices and establish a solid safeguard for the high-quality advancement of the Laos potash project.

At the outset of the meeting, Chen Bingru, Assistant to the General Manager, provided a detailed overview of the project background, development vision, and the Company’s comprehensive strengths. He noted that Zangge Mining, as a leading enterprise in salt lake resource development, benefits from the strong support of its controlling shareholder, Zijin Mining, which ranks among the global leaders in the gold and base metals mining industry. This backing provides the project with critical advantages in resources, technology, and management. He emphasized that given the project’s significant investment scale and extended industrial chain, integrity and clean governance represent an inviolable bottom line of cooperation and a decisive factor for project success. Only by jointly fostering a transparent, ethical, and disciplined cooperation environment can the project be implemented steadily and sustainably, enabling long-term, mutually beneficial outcomes for all parties.

During the conference, participants jointly viewed corporate overview videos of Zijin Mining and Zangge Mining, gaining deeper insights into the two companies’ comprehensive strengths in areas including resource reserves, technological innovation, green development, and social responsibility. This further strengthened suppliers’ confidence in long-term cooperation with the project.

At the meeting, Peng Kun, Chief Financial Officer of the Company, delivered the Initiative for Clean and Integrity-Based Cooperation on behalf of the Company. The initiative set out clear expectations for all suppliers across five key areas: adhering to the rule of law, preventing improper interest transfers, strengthening compliance and internal controls, upholding business integrity, and consciously accepting supervision. It explicitly prohibited any form of commercial bribery, as well as the use of improper means to obtain project information or interfere with bidding and procurement processes. Suppliers were required to integrate integrity and compliance requirements throughout their internal management systems, working jointly to prevent and control integrity-related risks.

Speaking on behalf of suppliers, the head of the Zijin Construction Engineering Project Department solemnly committed to strictly complying with the laws and regulations of both China and Laos, fully endorsing and responding to the Company’s clean cooperation initiative. He pledged to take the lead in standardizing business practices, fulfill cooperation obligations through high-quality professional services, proactively accept supervision, and serve as both a practitioner and promoter of integrity-based cooperation. Together with Zangge Laos Company, he stated, suppliers will strive to build a model of “close yet clean” partnership characterized by transparency, trust, and mutual respect.

In the presence of all participants, Zangge Laos Company and all suppliers signed a legally binding Clean Cooperation Agreement on site. As an integral part of the principal business contracts, the agreement clearly defines the integrity obligations of both parties as well as corresponding liabilities for breach. It stipulates that suppliers involved in violations such as commercial bribery will, in accordance with regulations, be subject to measures including suspension of cooperation, contract termination, inclusion on a supplier blacklist, and forfeiture of performance bonds. In serious cases, legal liability will be pursued. The agreement also establishes sound supervision and reporting channels, with a firm commitment to the strict confidentiality of whistleblower information.

The convening of this supplier conference not only clarified requirements for clean and integrity-based cooperation, but also helped build a mutually trusting and win-win cooperation mechanism between the parties. Taking this conference as an opportunity, Zangge Laos Company will continue to optimize the cooperation environment, standardize bidding and procurement processes, and enhance its integrity evaluation framework. Integrity and compliance performance will be incorporated as key criteria for supplier admission, project allocation, and contract renewal assessments. Looking ahead, the Company looks forward to working hand in hand with all suppliers—building enterprises on integrity and advancing industries through clean governance—to ensure the smooth implementation of the Laos potash project, contribute positively to local economic and social development, and set a benchmark for best practices in mining cooperation.
