Zangge Potash Launches a New Model of University-Enterprise Cooperation with Qinghai University

Recently, 41 interns from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Qinghai University visited the Chaka Salt Lake potash production base of Ge’ermu Zangge Potash Co., Ltd. to participate in an internship integrating academic teaching with industry practice. On June 25, the company held a “Teaching Practice Base” awarding ceremony at the lake area, marking a new stage in university-enterprise cooperation. Li Guangjun, Deputy Director of the Production Management Department, represented the company at the opening ceremony and delivered a speech, highlighting the company’s commitment to social responsibility and educational support.

The internship was divided into theoretical learning and practical training. During the theoretical sessions, the company invited industry experts, including Deputy Director Li Guangjun, Deputy Director Zhang Teng of Workshop 8, and Deputy Director Zhu Wenlong of the Mining Workshop, to give technical lectures. Discussions focused on current trends and key issues in the potash industry, and experts also addressed questions that students encountered in their classroom studies.

During the practical training, students rotated through the mining workshop, potash production workshop, and other key production stages, gaining hands-on experience. Training covered the entire process from resource development to production and product quality testing, enabling students to clearly understand the strategic significance and workflow of potash production.

In recent years, the company has continuously strengthened university-enterprise cooperation, exploring ways to effectively integrate academic disciplines with practical productivity through collaborative talent development. In the future, the company plans to further explore a new model of university-enterprise cooperation featuring mutual support, deep integration, two-way involvement, complementary strengths, shared resources, and mutual benefits in areas such as technological innovation and talent cultivation.
