Chasing Dreams in Youth — Talent Shines on the Field
The 12th Zangge Potash Fertilizer Staff Sports Games, themed “Youth Blossoms in Struggle, Health Thrives in Sports”, concluded successfully after five months of competition. On the field, athletes competed shoulder to shoulder, sweating together and demonstrating the courage, perseverance, and fighting spirit of the Zangge team. Notably, 85 new graduate hires participated in this year’s event, achieving impressive results across multiple competitions.
Since the launch of campus recruitment in 2022, Zangge Group has consistently prioritized the development of new graduates, viewing them as the backbone of the company’s future growth. To ensure their smooth integration and rapid growth, each new graduate is assigned both a mentor and a class supervisor. This system allows them to quickly familiarize themselves with the company environment, immerse in corporate culture, and master essential skills and knowledge required for their roles.
Wei Tingmei, a 2023 graduate in Human Resource Management from Qinghai University, joined the Human Resources Department at Golmud Zangge Potash Fertilizer immediately after graduation.

Initially, she faced challenges adapting to the unfamiliar environment and company operations. Under her mentor’s careful guidance, Wei Tingmei deepened her understanding of the company through reviewing departmental functions, reading job descriptions, and visiting various departments at the Lake District. She successfully completed tasks including the onboarding of 150 employees, 2024 staffing audits, the addition of 36 new positions, and revisions to job descriptions. Her mentor imparted professional skills and nurtured her meticulous work habits.
Additionally, her class supervisor provided guidance on professional ethics and life attitudes, encouraging her to participate in company training and extracurricular activities.
On August 21, 2024, Wei Tingmei emerged victorious in a table tennis competition, exemplifying the company’s holistic talent development philosophy that emphasizes both professional skills and multi-dimensional growth.

Zheng Jinlan, an energetic and optimistic member of the 2023 graduate cohort, joined the Production Management Department at Golmud Zangge Potash Fertilizer. She initially faced the dual challenges of a new work environment and unfamiliar tasks. The rugged roads and unfamiliar surroundings of the Lake District were daunting, but with support from her mentor, class supervisor, and senior colleagues—as well as well-equipped sports facilities—she gradually adapted. During her internship in the production workshop, Zheng Jinlan followed employees in the first line of production daily, learning operations firsthand. Later, in office assignments, she dedicated herself to party affairs and data analysis. Despite occasional mistakes, she steadily improved her understanding through careful guidance and self-learning.
Beyond technical skills, Zheng Jinlan actively participated in company events, demonstrating diverse talents. At the 12th Staff Sports Games, she excelled in multiple events: her women’s basketball team claimed first place in the group stage, her team secured second place in the five-person tied-leg relay, and she personally achieved third place in standing long jump. These honors reflect both her individual abilities and the effectiveness of the company’s talent development system.
Since joining in 2023, new graduate hires have successfully transitioned from students to professionals under the mentorship system, showcasing their unique strengths across various roles. Their outstanding performance not only injects fresh energy into the company but also inspires the 2024 graduate cohort.
Guided by their predecessors, the 2024 graduates have eagerly embraced work and company activities, quickly adapting to the corporate environment and achieving remarkable results in sports competitions, including women’s and men’s basketball, and standing long jump. They displayed strong athletic skills and excellent teamwork.

Let us witness these young faces’ wonderful moments on the field and feel their youthful energy and fighting spirit.
