Zangge Mining Holds Talks with COFCO on Deepening Strategic Cooperation in Potash
On February 21, Zangge Mining and a delegation from the Raw Material Fertilizer Division of COFCO Holdings, under the All China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, successfully held a cooperation meeting at the Group Headquarters. Both sides reviewed the results of potash supply cooperation during the spring plowing period and conducted in-depth discussions on deepening potash supply and long-term strategic collaboration.
The delegation from COFCO Holdings’ Raw Material Fertilizer Division highly praised Zangge Mining for its responsibility and efficient execution in spring supply assurance, particularly highlighting the company’s outstanding contributions to timely potash supply, product quality, and stability, fully recognizing the company’s important role in supporting national agricultural production.

At the meeting, Zangge Mining Vice President Huang Peng provided a systematic introduction to the company’s potash business development layout and latest updates, emphasizing that the company has formulated a detailed potash production plan to fully ensure stable operation of the supply system. Huang Peng also shared the latest progress on the company’s overseas resource development in the Laos potash project, noting that its successful advancement will bring new growth momentum and further enhance capacity reserve advantages. In addition, Huang Peng introduced the newly established Zangge Mining Economic & Trade (Hainan) Co., Ltd., which will leverage the Hainan Free Trade Zone policy advantages to actively expand domestic and international trade, promoting efficient flow of potash resources. Huang Peng expressed the expectation to deepen cooperation with COFCO in supply chain coordination and market expansion, jointly building a more competitive industrial ecosystem.

Both sides agreed to continue strengthening communication and collaboration, enhance resource sharing and complementary advantages, and jointly improve market responsiveness. Through continuous deepening of strategic coordination, the two parties aim to create a new landscape of win-win cooperation, provide stronger support for national food security and agricultural modernization, and jointly write a new chapter in serving high-quality agricultural development.
