Zangge Mining Implements “Four-Step Approach” to Strengthen Safety Defenses for Resumption of Production

To fully implement safety production management requirements and rapidly restore post-holiday production order, the company, in strict accordance with the 2025 Work Resumption and Production Safety Plan, has adopted a four-step strategy of “Deployment, Inspection, Education, and Drill” to firmly consolidate the safety production line. By March 1, the potash production line achieved full resumption, ensuring a safe and strong start for 2025 and laying a solid foundation for high-quality development throughout the year.

Building Consensus, Refining Pathways. On February 26, the company held a post-holiday “Re-focus and Work Resumption” meeting. Zangge Potash Deputy General Manager An Shoujun attended and deployed key tasks, emphasizing: “All employees must quickly refocus and align with the ‘Nine Requirements’—quantified targets, strengthened implementation, accountability, improved execution, efficient communication, self-improvement, innovative breakthroughs, team cohesion, and strategic vision—to ensure a smooth production start and promote efficient work execution.”

Preventing Risks, Eliminating Hazards. To ensure smooth post-holiday production safety, the company adheres to the principles of prevention first and comprehensive coverage, organizing special inspections in key areas such as production workshops, oil depots, and warehouses in the lake area. Through on-site risk inspections, unit and department leaders are guided to fulfill their primary responsibilities, establish a dynamic hazard inspection mechanism, ensure hazards are corrected immediately and closed-loop, and resolutely prevent “three violations,” effectively consolidating the safety production line.

Education and Training, Strengthening Mindsets. Targeting safety risks during post-holiday production resumption, the company carried out precise “First Safety Lesson” training. Using modules such as accident case warnings, emergency drill assessments, and job-specific risk briefings, the program addresses potential hazards from “holiday syndrome” and reinforces employees’ safety responsibility awareness and emergency response capabilities.

Drills Build Defense, Practice Prepares for Battle. Multiple on-site emergency drills simulating mechanical injuries, hazardous chemical leaks, and other scenarios were conducted in the lake area, focusing on testing the operability of emergency plans, coordination of emergency responses, and effectiveness of handling measures. Post-drill reviews optimized plan details for identified weaknesses, effectively enhancing emergency preparedness that integrates both normal and critical situations.

The company will continue to focus on building a robust safety production system, strictly controlling each stage of work resumption and production, while ensuring the “Nine Requirements” are fully implemented. By strengthening target management, accountability, technological innovation, and team collaboration, the company is committed to ensuring the high-quality completion of the 2025 potash production tasks.
