Zangge Lithium Successfully Holds Chef Skills Competition
In order to comprehensively enhance the quality of the company cafeteria’s dining services and to further stimulate the creativity and competitive spirit of the chef team, the Administration Department of Golmud Zangge Lithium Co., Ltd. successfully organized a Chef Skills Competition on May 22. This competition brought together the top culinary talents from the Administration Department, with eight chefs from the company cafeteria participating. Using the stove as their stage and ingredients as their brushes, they presented a spectacular showcase of culinary artistry, fully demonstrating their professional expertise and team spirit.

On the afternoon of the competition, the chefs arrived at the venue early, brimming with confidence and ready to compete. The event mainly tested their basic cooking skills and mastery of traditional dishes. Within the designated time, chefs were required to select ingredients based on their specialties and creativity, and complete the preparation of assigned dishes.
As the whistle signaled the start of the contest, the kitchen instantly transformed into a stage of craftsmanship. Stir-frying, pan-frying, deep-frying, sautéing—various cooking techniques were displayed in turn, and one exquisite dish after another, full of color, aroma, and flavor, came to life in the chefs’ hands.

The panel of judges consisted of company executives, employee representatives from different departments, and professional food critics. They evaluated the dishes rigorously across multiple dimensions, including color, aroma, taste, presentation, and nutritional balance. After intense competition and fair scoring, Song Bangqing won the first prize with his superb knife skills, solid culinary foundation, and exquisite plating techniques. Tang Deju and He Lanxiang delivered outstanding performances, winning the second and third prizes respectively.

The Chef Skills Competition not only served as a platform for the chefs to showcase their talents and learn from one another but also reflected the company’s vibrant and positive working atmosphere. Looking ahead, the cafeteria team of the Administration Department will continue to work with greater enthusiasm and creativity to provide employees with richer, more diverse, and healthier dining options, further enhancing staff satisfaction and sense of belonging.
