Zangge Potash Union Strengthens Summer Heat Prevention Measures

In response to the ongoing high temperatures in the Golmud region, the Trade Union of Golmud Zangge Potash Co., Ltd. has actively fulfilled its role by launching the 2025 summer heat prevention and cooling initiative. The union allocated more than RMB 130,000 in special funds to purchase practical supplies such as electrolyte drinks, Nestlé tea beverages, and watermelons. These were distributed to over 1,300 employees, ensuring timely delivery to all departments and workstations.

Adhering to a people-centered approach, the company’s trade union regards labor protection during hot seasons as a priority. In alignment with production operations and employee needs, the union held dedicated discussions to formulate protective measures against heat exposure and strictly oversaw their implementation. Alongside the distribution of supplies, the union also promoted safety guidelines for working in high temperatures, encouraging employees to arrange work schedules scientifically, enhance self-protection awareness, and ensure safe and stable production operations.
