Zangge Mining was awarded the "Outstanding Green Innovation Award" at the 3rd International Zero Carbon Festival.

On July 24, 2024, the 3rd International Green Zero Carbon Festival and 2024 ESG Leaders Summit successfully opened in Beijing. With the theme of “Moving Toward Carbon Neutrality,” the event attracted participants from various sectors. Zangge Mining won the “Outstanding Green Innovation Award” at this year’s Zero Carbon Festival for its significant breakthrough in lithium extraction from ultra-low-concentration brine.

In recent years, the company has focused on its three core business segments—potash, lithium, and copper—pursuing an environmentally friendly, integrated, and sustainable development path while continuously innovating in ESG practices. Its wholly owned subsidiary, Zangge Lithium, achieved a major technological breakthrough after years of accumulation and R&D: extracting lithium from ultra-low-concentration brine and producing battery-grade lithium carbonate in a single-step process. This innovation has reshaped the global lithium resource development landscape, positioning China’s salt lake lithium extraction technology as a world leader. For this achievement, Zangge Mining received the “Outstanding Green Innovation Award” at the Zero Carbon Festival. During the event, the company was also invited to share some of its recent ESG achievements.
