Party Building Leads the Way: The First Party Members’ Congress of Zangge Mining Co., Ltd. Successfully Held

On July 30, 2025, the first plenary session of the Party Members’ Congress of the Communist Party Committee of Zangge Mining Co., Ltd. was solemnly held to the sound of the national anthem. The congress elected the first leadership teams of the Company’s Party Committee and Discipline Inspection Committee, marking a new stage of standardization and institutionalization in Zangge Mining’s party building work.

The congress received significant attention from the Golmud Municipal Committee. Comrade Li Le, Deputy Director of the Social Work Department and Secretary of the “Two New” Work Committee of the Golmud Municipal Committee of the CPC, supervised and guided the entire process. Representatives from the company’s board of directors and management attended the meeting, and all party members witnessed this historic moment together.

The meeting was presided over by Comrade Wang Jubao, Party Secretary of Zangge Potash. Comrade Cui Pengfei, head of the Party Committee Preparatory Leadership Group, read out the approval documents from the Golmud Municipal Committee regarding the establishment of the Party Committee, the Discipline Inspection Committee, and the list of provisional candidates, providing organizational assurance for the election.

Comrade Li Le congratulated the congress on behalf of the Municipal Committee, emphasizing that the newly established “two committees” should fully leverage party-building leadership to contribute more to local economic development. The company’s board of directors and management, in their congratulatory message, pledged full support for the Party Committee’s work and joint efforts to promote high-quality corporate development.

The congress strictly followed the Party Constitution and the Regulations on the Election of Grassroots Organizations, reviewing and approving the election procedures and list of ballot monitors. Through a secret ballot and competitive election, seven Party Committee members were elected (in surname stroke order): Wang Jubao, Sun Quan, Zhang Liping, Li Jianchang, Li Ruixue, Cao Sansheng, and Cui Pengfei; three Discipline Inspection Committee members were elected: Wang Zhiwen, Sun Quan, and Xiao Bing. At the first plenary session that followed, Comrade Cao Sansheng was elected Party Secretary, Comrade Cui Pengfei as Deputy Party Secretary, and Comrade Sun Quan as Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee.

The newly elected Party Secretary, Comrade Cao Sansheng, on behalf of the first “two committees,” solemnly pledged to always uphold Party leadership, prioritize political development, strengthen organizational construction, deepen ideological guidance, fortify the integrity barrier, and build a distinctive party-building brand to provide strong political guarantees for the company’s reform and development.

The congress concluded successfully to the resounding chorus of the “Internationale.” The successful convening of this meeting represents an important milestone for Zangge Mining in improving modern corporate governance under the new structure empowered by Zijin Mining. The company will use the establishment of the Party Committee as an opportunity to further integrate party-building with production and operations, injecting strong red momentum for high-quality development.
