ZGM Wins the Outstanding Green Innovation Award at the Third International Green Zero-Carbon Festival

On July 24, 2024, the Third International Green Zero-Carbon Festival and 2024 ESG Leadership Summit was successfully held in Beijing. With the theme of Towards Carbon Neutrality, this event attracted people from all walks of life. With its major breakthrough in ultra-low concentration brine lithium extraction technology, ZGM won the Outstanding Green Innovation Award at the event.

In recent years, the Company has focused on the three major business segments of potassium, lithium and copper, and engaged in ESG practices and innovation to pursue sustainability that is green and environmentally friendly. After years of technology accumulation and R&D innovation, ZGL, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, has achieved a technological breakthrough in extracting and producing battery-grade lithium carbonate from ultra-low concentration brine, which has completely changed the development pattern of lithium resources in the world, leading the world in terms of lithium extraction technology from salt lakes, and winning the Outstanding Green Innovation Award at this year’s International Green Zero-Carbon Festival. At the Festival, the Company was also invited to share some of its ESG achievements made in recent years.

With these honors, the Company will continue to strengthen the in-depth integration of ESG within the group, enhance its sustainability capabilities, and achieve new quality productive forces through innovation.
