CAG Potash Energy Conservation Week Campaign — New Momentum in Energy Efficiency, Leading a Green Future
Against the backdrop of global sustainable development, energy conservation and consumption reduction have become key issues for corporate growth. On the occasion of the 35th National Energy Conservation Publicity Week, CAG Potash Co., Ltd., as a resource-intensive enterprise, actively responded to the call. From June 13 to June 20, the company organized a week-long energy conservation campaign aligned with workshop production practices. The aim was to raise employee awareness, promote energy-saving measures, and drive the company’s sustainable development.
I. Campaign Overview

Comprehensive Communication
During the campaign, publicity efforts were rolled out across workshops, office buildings, canteens, and other public spaces. Eye-catching banners such as “Energy Conservation Starts with Me, Powering Enterprise Growth” and “Save Energy, Protect Resources, Build a Green Potash Enterprise Together” were displayed. Warm reminders like “Turn Off Lights When Not in Use” and “Save Water, Start with Small Actions” were posted throughout corridors and floors, creating a strong energy-saving atmosphere.
Diverse Knowledge Dissemination

An energy conservation bulletin board showcased the company’s goals, measures, achievements, and advanced industry case studies. Handbooks covering basic knowledge, regulations, and equipment-saving practices were distributed to all employees. Branded fans with conservation slogans were also handed out, embedding the concept of energy-saving into daily life.
Professional Lectures
Internal technical experts led a series of seminars. Deputy Director Zhang Teng (Workshop No. 8) explained major energy-consuming processes and technologies in potash production. Cheng Guangyong, Director of the Utilities Department, shared insights on the policy landscape, importance of energy conservation and carbon reduction, company practices and achievements, as well as practical tips, helping employees enhance both technical knowledge and awareness.
Results Showcase
An exhibition area was set up, highlighting before-and-after data of equipment upgrades, energy consumption reduction charts, and the economic benefits of conservation projects. This gave employees a tangible view of the positive outcomes, encouraging broader participation.
II. Campaign Results
Through a series of activities, employees gained a deeper understanding of the importance of energy conservation. Awareness was significantly strengthened, and many began taking proactive measures, such as shutting down idle equipment and reusing reclaimed water. The campaign successfully communicated the company’s energy-saving efforts, strengthened its social responsibility image, and enhanced industry reputation.
It also fostered the exchange and application of internal energy-saving technologies, laying a solid foundation for improving management practices. Moving forward, the company will continue gathering feedback, refining its publicity and management approach, and developing further energy-saving and carbon-reduction plans to embed conservation practices into everyday production and operations.
