Chairman Chen Jinghe of Zijin Mining Group Visits Zangge Mining for Inspection and Research
From July 6 to 9, 2025, Chen Jinghe, Party Secretary and Chairman of Zijin Mining Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Zijin Mining”), led a delegation to Xining City and Golmud City, Qinghai Province, conducting a four-day in-depth inspection and research of Zangge Mining Co., Ltd. (“Zangge Mining”) and its subsidiaries. The delegation was accompanied by Wu Jianhui, Executive Director and Vice President of Zijin Mining and Chairman of Zangge Mining, Xiao Yao, Vice Chairman and President of Zangge Mining, and Long Yi, Vice President of Zijin Mining, among others.
During the visit to Xining, Chairman Chen and his team met with key leaders of the Qinghai Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, providing detailed briefings on Zijin Mining’s operations and development since becoming the controlling shareholder of Zangge Mining, as well as future strategic plans. Provincial leaders highly praised Zangge Mining’s achievements and pledged to continue providing policy support and a favorable business environment for its development.
On July 8, the delegation visited Golmud City to conduct on-site inspections of Zangge Potash and Zangge Lithium production operations. Experts including Li Jianchang, Executive Vice President of Zangge Mining, and Zhang Shengshun, Chief Engineer, provided detailed reports on technological innovations in potash production, efficient utilization of salt lake resources, and key breakthroughs in lithium projects, alongside a systematic overview of current operations and future strategic plans. Chairman Chen and the delegation highly recognized and encouraged these efforts.

After the site visits, a roundtable meeting was held at the Zangge Potash office building. President Xiao Yao delivered an in-depth report on current operations, emphasizing stable growth and efficiency improvements in the potash business, expansion and upgrading of lithium resources, and the phased progress of the Laos million-ton potash project.
At the meeting, Chairman Chen outlined guidance for Zangge Mining’s next steps:
Unify thinking and accelerate construction of a “simple, standardized, and efficient” operational management system, strengthening supervision, institutional frameworks, corporate culture, and moral development.
Continue to strengthen core business advantages, quickly overcome technical bottlenecks in the Laos potash project, enhance coordination of the Tibet lithium resources sector, and explore technological breakthroughs for associated resources like magnesium, laying a solid foundation for high-quality and sustainable development.
Promote digitalization and refined management; as Zangge grows in scale, management upgrades are inevitable. Information systems are a critical tool for the company’s next stage of development, ensuring all operations run transparently on information platforms and eliminating opaque practices.

Leverage Zangge’s market-oriented advantages to attract and cultivate talent, using business expansion to train existing personnel and build a talent pipeline for future development.
Chairman Chen emphasized that Zangge should use this restructuring opportunity to upgrade organizational management and integrate into the Zijin system, while avoiding a simple copy of Zijin’s model. Originating from private enterprise, Zangge has unique advantages and characteristics and should innovatively explore a development model suited to itself, making greater contributions to local economic and social development. Zijin Mining will fully support Zangge’s growth, creating a new era of success together.
On July 9, Chairman Chen and the delegation communicated with key leaders of the Golmud Municipal Party Committee and Government regarding Zangge Mining’s development plans, policy support, and business environment optimization. Local leaders pledged full support for Zijin Mining and Zangge Mining to achieve faster and better development in the region.
Subsequently, the delegation visited the Zangqing Industrial Park, received updates on park development, and discussed ways for Zijin Mining and Zangge Mining to better integrate into the park’s growth.
This inspection and research further strengthened confidence in Zangge Mining’s development and provided clearer guidance for its future direction. Following Chairman Chen’s instructions, Zangge Mining will leverage its strengths, continue technological innovation and management upgrades, and accelerate high-quality development, contributing further to the economic and social development of Qinghai.
