Party Building Leads a New Chapter: The First Party Members’ Congress of Zangge Mining Co., Ltd. Successfully Held

On July 30, 2025, the first plenary session of the Party Members’ Congress of the Communist Party Committee of Zangge Mining Co., Ltd. was grandly held amid the solemn sound of the national anthem. During the meeting, the first Party Committee and the Discipline Inspection Committee leadership team of the Company were elected, marking a new stage of standardization and institutionalization in Zangge Mining’s party building work.

The congress received high attention from the Golmud Municipal Committee, with Li Le, Deputy Director of the Social Work Department of the CPC Golmud Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Two New Organizations Working Committee, supervising and guiding the meeting throughout. Representatives from the Company’s Board of Directors and executive management attended, and all party members jointly witnessed this significant moment.

The congress was presided over by Wang Jubao, Secretary of the Party Committee of Zangge Potash. During the meeting, Cui Pengfei, head of the preparatory Party Committee leadership team, read out the Golmud Municipal Committee’s approval documents on the establishment of the Party Committee, Discipline Inspection Committee, and the proposed candidates, providing organizational assurance for the election.

On behalf of the Municipal Committee, Li Le extended warm congratulations on the congress, emphasizing that the newly established “two committees” leadership team should fully leverage the guiding role of party building and make greater contributions to local economic development. In congratulatory letters, the Company’s Board and executive management expressed their full support for the Party Committee’s work and commitment to jointly promote high-quality enterprise development.

The congress strictly followed the Party Constitution and the election regulations for grassroots organizations, reviewed and approved the election procedures and the list of vote monitors. Through secret ballot and competitive election, seven Party Committee members were elected (listed by surname stroke order): Wang Jubao, Sun Quan, Zhang Liping, Li Jianchang, Li Ruixue, Cao Sansheng, and Cui Pengfei; three Discipline Inspection Committee members were elected: Wang Zhiwen, Sun Quan, and Xiao Bing. At the subsequent first plenary meeting, Cao Sansheng was elected Party Committee Secretary, Cui Pengfei as Deputy Secretary, and Sun Quan as Discipline Inspection Committee Secretary.

The newly elected Party Committee Secretary, Cao Sansheng, on behalf of the first “two committees” leadership team, solemnly pledged to always uphold the Party’s leadership, lead with political development, strengthen organizational construction, deepen ideological guidance, reinforce integrity safeguards, and build a distinctive party-building brand, providing a strong political guarantee for the Company’s reform and development.

The congress successfully concluded to the stirring sound of the “Internationale”. The successful holding of this meeting marks an important milestone for Zangge Mining in improving modern corporate governance under the new empowerment structure of Zijin Mining. The Company will take the establishment of the Party Committee as an opportunity to continuously deepen the integration of party building with production and operations, injecting strong red momentum into the pursuit of high-quality development.
