On December 22, 2023, Xiao Ning, Chairman of ZGM and ZGP, paid an onside visit to the production line of Qarhan Salt Lake to guide the environmental protection rectification.

At the production site, he went to the water intake pump station, production workshop, and the dike of the saltpan to acquire detailed information on ecological environmental protection restoration and management, safety production, equipment management, and plant gate reconstruction site selection, and checked the site rectification progress of relevant findings. He also learned the rectification measures and progress, guided the site rectification, and deployed subsequent rectification in details.  

In the afternoon, the Special Meeting on the Rectification of Ecological and Environmental Protection Findings was held in the meeting room on the third floor of the West Office Building in the Lake Area. Deputy General Manager Zhang Ping presided over the meeting, and Deputy General Manager An Shoujun made a detailed report on the progress of environmental protection rectification work and the production status for the whole year.

The chairman stated that the Central Environmental Inspection Team represents the authority of the central government. All departments at all levels of the Company should learn lessons from typical cases, effectively shoulder responsibilities, and spare no effort to promote the rectification in a precise, scientific and lawful manner. He further stated that we should draw inferences about other cases from one instance, carry out in-depth investigations, rectification and upgrading of ecological and environmental finding, without conditions, compromises or alternatives, so as to fully rectify the findings with strong measures and improve the ecological environment quality of the Company on all fronts.

Li Ruixue, secretary of the Board of directors of the company, Xiao Bing, assistant to the general manager, and heads of the Production Management Department, Utilities Department, Safety and Environmental Protection Department, and Technology Department participated in the above activities.
